Last week I won the holy grail of breedable pets.. well, at least they are to me. XD I've loved Puris since they first started, but they were so popular and expensive (I didnt have much gold back then) that I thought it impossible to get one. I had an extended hiatus from Minishops due to my tendonitis, but when I came back, I discovered the world of breedables. What was just beginning as a handful of new, intricate and unique petshops when I left had become this huge sesation and even its own forum! Well, truth be told I had been watching the minishops activity in general, including the breedables as a whole, but didnt do much but look around now and then. Well, anyway, when I decided to get active in minishops again, I hunted down the Puri thread. I lurked for a bit but everyone was cool to chat with in there, so I started hanging out from time to time. Well, this holiday season, Dasumi Maxwell decided to give away an egg from a breeding in a raffle. We had to answer riddles or challenges to get tickets, including one that was a theme of "Toys kids should never have but we would love to see." Well, this prompted my "Pin the Mustache on the Fuhrer." XD Anyway, I missed the first riddle, but I managed to get tickets in the rest of the events. Lo and be hold I log in on the 23rd of Dec to find that I actually won the raffle! I'm usually not all that lucky with raffles.
A little over a week ago, he was officially certed to me.
I was (and still am) elated~!! I cant wait to see what he looks like when he hatches. whee
