The Royal Suit
You don't want to know...but look anyway.
The Funniest Thing
The funniest thing, aka death of Steve Irwin

Hello hello childrens! And welcome to another entry to my mathbook.

Todays topic is, Steve Irwins death. blaugh heart mrgreen

First off...anybody besides me not care? Really, I'm tired of hearing about it. So some stupid animal guy that was on tv died, whoopty dippin' doo. rolleyes I mean, people die. There are more and more deaths everyday. So why should his death be so special? Very few people care about the millions of dieing soldiers out in Iraq and Iran right now. They don't make around one thousand topics about the soldiers now do they? and don't say that they do, because I happen to know for a fact that they don't.

He saved animals lives you say? So? Vets and Doctors do that all the time at the animal shelters and hospitals. Odopting animals, mending broken bones, curing their illnesses...They're the ones that should take all the credit. Sure, Irwin did all that stuff, too. But the only reason most people care is because he was on tv.

Honestly, it's disgusting! If you haven't noticed, he doesn't do all that stuff himself. All he does is take them away to GET help...he doesn't perform the surgery, he doesn't do any of the real important things! <.< I think all I've seen the man do is try to be bait to a crocodile. Really, it's no big deal that he died, because people die every day.

There are good reasons for his death, too. He helped lower Australias population!

This concludes angles personal rant session, good day.

Fatally yours,
Killer.

PS

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

Lol, when Loo heard about it she said, "Well it's about time."

You're right, and they overplayed it way too much. Think about how much they covered it just on that crappy CNN Student News. They're gonna have a friggin' field day with 9/11 and crap.

-_- ******** their moment of silence.

He was an australian icon. I agree it was overplayed on the news and interent and such but its what sold. Have you noticed that commercial television is sold by RATINGS !! The only reason news is played is public interest. An icon for the preservation of wildlife and such died. The average joes of the population know people are dying in other countries of war and faminie and the like but they dont want to see it every single day. The majorty of the population are interested in fluffy news about a celebrity dying. He was a role model for many young kids..not me..but he was.
Oh and vets and doctors and such get credit ordinarily everyday by grateful families etc..but Steve Irwin was a celebrity that set up organisations..etc for preservation not fixing sick animals but providing for them. He was a public figure so yeah most people care he died.
Sure we all dont cry or mourn or whatever as his family /close friends but we feel sad/sorry that a man who fought for flora and fauna preservation and was a strong public symbol for Australia died young and accidently.
