I went to Kohl's today. Clothes shopping.
I got really upset, because I wanted one of those long, skinny girl tanks, but they all make me look shorter. =( My mom came in from shopping in another store in the same building, and asked if I'd found anything, and I said no, and that I wish I was taller, then I kinda started crying. sad
We found a couple of button-up shirts that look nice, but it took us forever to find black dress pants for work that weren't unflatteringly baggy or too long. We ended up finding some in the GIRLS' section. -___-;
Then we went to look for shoes...
Nada.
Women's shoes don't come any smaller than a 6. And girls' shoes look like...well, girls' shoes.
Plus I needed a half-size in the two pairs that I tried on.
BLEEAAAH.
Why couldn't my feet be maybe a little bit closer to normal?
And me be just a little bit taller?
If I were taller...then I'd be prettier, at least.
And maybe people wouldn't be so shocked to learn my age. Instead everybody's like "aww, she's so cute! She looks like she's 12!"
It sucks.
