K. So as promised here's my report on the second day.
Got into town for 8:30, so I had about 45 minutes to waste before I had to actually be in my classroom. Walked into an off license & bought a bottle of lucozade, because I was definately needing energy :/
Slowly walked over to college. By the time I got onto college grounds it was a bout 9am. Alex wasn't there, where we arranged to meet, so I was pretty pissed off. Decided i'd maybe just sit in class for 15minutes, but on my way up I ran into this girl from my class. She was on her own too. Now from what I can tell so far, she's the class slut, but my impression of her is probably going to change. We spoke for about 20minutes, while she smoked lots & realised we were late, so we ran up.
Surprisingly we weren't the last one's to go in.
The rest of the day was pretty bland. Mostly sat filling in form's for connexions & being lectured on the college's "POLICY".
Alex wasn't in classsssssss. We got a 30 minute break at 10ish so I went to pick up some form's I needed from the student advice desk. On my way out of the building, "my" phone rang. & it was Alex. He'd decided that he wanted to do another course, which the college didn't support, so he was going to go to another college. IT ANNOYED ME, but we agreed to keep in touch.
Then there was this stupid party thing, the college had arranged. kind of a welcome party, but crapper. I took a look in the door & decided I wasn't going to bother, so me and my friend Gary decided we'd just go home.
NO ALCOHOL OR ANYTHING.
It's a shame that I can't make it home without having leaflets shoved in my face consantly. See, I must have this image where these promotional people think "Hmm, he looks like a mug, lets offer him some s**t & see if he'll turn up". Working on losing that image.
I feel for those people though. I did some brief work in promotions when I was 15 during my work experience for HMV & that just wasn't fun AT ALL. People can be bastards, so I try my best not to get annoyed when they give me leaflets for gay bars like "power house".
