I was at a board about why people donate today, and I've noticed a few things. People have different criteria.
For example, some people only donate to newbies to assist them. Some people only donate to rich people because they would use it.
Some people only donate to people with quest threads, because it shows commitment.
Other's find quest threads annoying, like begging.
Some people donate randomly, and other donate to people they know.
It all depends on what people want to do with there gold. All I know is, I don't fit many of those criteria gonk .
Ok, I'm kidding, but It's interesting to watch donation behavior. Read one of those threads sometime. You might learn something.
