I think the line that would represent me the most would be the declining and inclining slopes. The other lines all relate to me but not as much. I chose the sloped lines because my life is consantly taking sharp turns for better or for worse. It all started with my wonderful birth. BOrn May 2nd 1991 in McMaster Hospital in Hamilton. I was a cute baby, second born 14 monthes after my older sister. I was given all the love and attention a baby could want until I turned 2, my parents seprerated. Changing from one house to another was confusing and dealing with my parents arguing wasn't that fun. But I forgot all about it on the first day of school. Kinderagarden wasn't that great in Hamilton, I attened Regina Munday school for my first two years of Kindergarden. All the other children made fun of me because of my unusual haircut, clothing and skin colour. My mother cut off all my hair because we didn't have much time to take care of hair anyways. Later on after comming home and busting into tears at all the teasing my Mother decided we move to Burlington. I was about 6 or 7 at the time. All through grades one to seven the other kids always found somthing to tease me about. I never had a best friend until I met Elise Miller. We were the two last people in the school yard who havn't been picked to be on a soccer team yet. THe first thing i said to her was, "You're really tall, wanna be friends?" After that we were best friends. As time progressed things got much better than me. I developed a sense of self-respect and a bit of self esteem. In grade 8 I met Melissa Black, she was new to St.Raphaels and I met her durring a ski trip. After me falling off the skilift, skiing out of control into a bunch of trees and crashing at full speed into a fence, we were friends. Later on I re-met Michelle and her sister Sarah and they joined our group as well as Rachel.
Time flew by and it was time for graduation, after a boringly long service and an amazing party, me and elise we're highschool girls. (All the others were a year younger) After an uneventful summer, it was highschool here we come! ME and Elise all dressed up in our blue and white school uniforms walked through the doors of Assumption Secondary School. That year, was the best year of my life. I was reunited with old friends from so long ago, I met new friends, most of which were older than me. I loved all my classes and I developed even more self esteem. The other kids at highschool, yes they made fun of me. For my love of Japanese Cartoons(anime), my obsession for wearing chains on my kilt, my outrageous hair styles and ocasionally wearing cat ears. I loved it all and I wasn't about to change just because sociaty expects us all to be the same mindless clones. I though High school couldn't get any better, then there was that fateful day. I met Stacy Roberts. HE was a friend of one of my friends, he joined our little reject group because he was new to assumption and he had a mohawk. I was in Gr.9 and he was in Gr.10.He had a girlfriend and I wasn't allowed to date. On December 21st he asked me to be his girlfriend, at that point I was compleletly and utterly in love with him, it was one of those time you have to say, "How could I have lived And never know you?" Or "I can't live without you." Thank God that our relationships were way different from a normal one. Insted of going to the movies when we went out together, we usually went down to the lake and hung out there. He was the first guy I ever loved and my first boyfriend. Although My parents didn't approve of our relationship...at all. So, ever since I met him I couln't stop thinking about him.
Anyways, busting out of my romantic bubble, My 15th birthday neared and I got my first cellphone and a nose ring. At first both were a major pain to deal with but i got used to them eventually. I forgot to mention, art club. THanks to Mrs.Fuller our school has an art club. Me and all of my friends make up the majority of art club. most of the time I"m wasn't really in art club but other places doing other things with a certain someone. In art club, we deigned and painted the sences for the Wizard of Oz among other things. I also joined a volonteering group called Civitans, I only joined it to be with Stacy but now it means so much more to me. So, I finished all my courses and exams with pasing marks and looked forward to a summer with my friends. Than, my inclining line took a turn for the worst. It turns out that I was grounded for the whole summer, save the two weeks I went to go visit my dad. Sneeking out here and there to go hang out with friends and see Stacy, the summer started off ok. My cousin from Switzeralnd came to stay with us for two weeks, he brother was most annoying but me and her had fun going to Niagara Falls and Wonderland. Most of my summer was medicocre. SAve for my adventures with Sari, to this day I shall never regret them. I'd rather not say what we did, but they were the highlight of my summer. All was good, until I got an email from Stacy, "Meet me at the mall."
iI managed to get out of the house and see him, only for him to tell me that he was moving back to Hamilton. I cried for the first time in a while. I though that we were suposed to finish highschool together, but I guess not. He's in Hamilton right now and I miss him to a point that can't even be described. To get my mind off of him I started to work with my dad. My dad owns his own moving and junk removal buisness. I tagged along to help with the small things and by the end of the summer I was able to purchase an Ipod Video, one of my greatest acomplishments in life. Before I knew it, it was time for school. School supply shopping at the last minute isn't a good idea, i can tell you that. I was back at Assumption, with all my old friends, some new. The call me emo now, because I like black and I mope alot and other reasons. So now, I sit at my computer typing this assignment out for religion. My life as a line.
