So today in my class as Network Specialist, we have a policy to repair and fix softwares, and hardwares for PCs. Yesterday, a customer comes in, with a PC that she wants to know if the games that she installed can run on her PC. So here I am saying to her "Sure". I go and pick up her PC, and to my surprise I see her PC...one that I've haven't seen in ten years! It's hard to describe the model, but I can tell you that it had the drive for the floppy disk...as in the pre-A: drive one. I was shocked that there are still some of those models left. So, I hooked it up, turned it on, and there it was..it was using the Windows 95 program! While looking at it, it remined me of how computer technology has advanced for the past 30 years...hey, those were the ol' days back then, and amazing how technology is advancing faster then before.
One more surprise, she bought the PC yesterday, and the games she tried to play wouldn't run...these were games that actualyl required Windows 98 or more advance hardware.
