Crystalline stepping stones spring forth from the deep azure blue waters that separate the island from the mainland. The vast beauty of the lake and hauntingly beautiful countryside is enough to make the average traveler not notice the long walk to the island. Bright jewel colored exotic fish can be seen flitting about under the surface of the gentle waves and even within the stepping stones themselves.
Upon coming to the island, vast gardens of blossoms, herbs, and fruit trees seem to intermingle with the serene yet eerie woods… causing a pleasant mingling of scents to perfume the air. A path of packed earth winds its’ way through the jagged cliffs and rolling hills. Upon cresting the hill, a magnificent palace comes into view. From this height, one can see the palace actually built around a central spire, or tower if you will, made of intricately carved ivory.
With those for an eye of craftsmanship, the huge tower appears to have come from a single bone. The same azure waters that surround the island also surrounds the glittering palace. To the side of a gate made of alabaster is a sign that magically allows all who view it to understand the words carved upon the jet tablet.
