Life...
My life through my eyes is not quite the truth to the world around me.
Day 1 Current mood: In awe
The most AMAZING thing happened to me today. I went out riding with my cousin over the green hills and tall trees of our home. The day was so clear, sunny, and bright, only a few clouds were in the sky.
I love riding. I love the height, the speed, the air. Feeling one with the horse beneath me as we travel every terrain. My horse, Blackfire (I don't call her by her real name Coda because she doesn't respond to it) stopped for a drink of water and I asked my cousin, about a beautiful brown horse I could see galloping in the distance. She didn't spot it before it disappeared around a wall so she couldn’t tell me about it. I didn't think anything of it after that until we got back to her ranch around noontime.
I was in the stables, brushing my horse off when I heard the door open. I turned around, thinking it was my cousin, but it wasn't. Leading the horse I had seen galloping earlier, was a guy with blonde hair and gorgeous blue eyes. I didn't know it at the time, but he's very close to my cousin, and the only one that can care for the horse he was with. I watched a moment utterly mesmerized. He spoke so softly, so strong, with such quiet tones... so... indescribable… He must have noticed me watching, for no sooner did I begin to stare, did he turn his head in my direction. I turned away so quickly, my hair lashed at Blackfire who grew instantly angry. She wasn't very happy with me as it was because I was trying to braid her tail earlier, and in retaliation she kicked her fore hooves up at me, and I fell back. Her hooves flew over me and I feared she would stamp on me when suddenly the guy grabbed her neck and steadied her. His green hat fell off into the straw pile and his bag made a clacking sound as he pet her.
"Hush... it's okay," he cooed. He calmed Blackfire, and I watched in astonishment. I was breathless, nervous, relieved, and timid, but the guy was able to calm me with just a look, like he had my horse. He offered me a hand and helped me to my feet his blue eyes searching me quickly for injuries.
"Th-Thank you…" I stammered. He didn't say anything in response, but gave me a small confident smile and left. He walked out, his sword and shield glinting in the sun light.
My cousin ran over to me and informed me that the guy I had encountered, the one who had made my stomach fill with butterflies, was in fact, Link...
