Seriously, I was leaning over the stove to reach for some spices in the cabinet above and I didn't realize the hem of my shirt was hovering over the burner.

I pull away from the stove wondering why it felt so hot all of a sudden. I was putting my hand near the burner to see how hot it was, when I realized the heat was following me! I looked down and saw a flame about the size of my hand at the bottom of my shirt.

I immediately ran to the sink and shoved the bottom of my shirt into a pot that had been soaking to put out the flames.

I didn't really get burned, only one of my fingers stang from a very minor burn for a few hours.

Thank God I was wearing a cotton shirt and not something like nylon, otherwise it could have turned out a whole lot worse. Too bad it was my favourite shirt though. :*(

So yeah, it was interesting.
