MY HEARTS DESIRE

I gaze at you everyday.
Trying to see if you will look my way.

I feel like I need you for my own,
By some force unknown.

I know you are with another girl
And you treat her like a dimond, ruby, a pearl.

But if only you could be with me,
I am the lock you are the key.

I love you more and more each week,
You fill my hearts sorrow leak.

Now you have dumped that witch,
You can pull me out of my hearts ditch.

Now that everything will be okay,
I will love you more than words can say.

Now that my heart has been mend,
A new journey will begin,
and this is the end.

This poem used to be about a guy I thought I would never get over but you know in life we grow up and change. We move on. I learned that you are going to get hurt a lot in life and sometimes all we can do is move on and keep the faith even though we don't know what direction we are moving in all we can do is trust we will find our way. I found mine. His name is Yeshua.
