The Journal Of Moi. Now Fear It. Fear It...
This be a journal of Gaia and me. Things that happen in real life or Gaia. Whatever I feel like writing.
Random junk and a prologue
I almost have enough for the new hairstyle I want! I'd be happier if the hair was ALOT cheaper... But hey. I think everyone is like that.
Oooh, I upgraded my profile to an Evanescence theme! I wuv Evanescence... I wanted to get a sound thingie of "Like You" but it dinnae work for me... Must ask a friend who's done it!
Oh and cos I'm bored, I'm gonna stick the prologue to my story here. Just for fun! 3nodding

PROLOGUE TO ONCE IN A BLUE MOON (OINABLUM) BY ME

So long I’ve been here... Locked in the dark... I think they’re trying to keep me alive. The bedraggled creatures that are thrown into cells beside me disappear just as quickly. I wonder sometimes why they don’t just kill me. I would prefer that.
But something isn’t right. My name doesn’t fit. My past is a hazy fog. Sometimes when I look at myself reflected in the water in my bowl, I pull at my hair. It’s not right. My eyes are unfamiliar. It’s like I don’t know myself. I play with my bracelet. It’s the door to my past but I can’t find the key.
The guard is coming now. Perhaps he will give me some meat and bread? For that is what I eat. Raw meat and bread that tastes like dirt. And fruit on occasion. The water tastes like smoky metal, but it’s water.
No, he has someone with him. No wait; there are three of them. In chains. They are put in the cell opposite my own. I sidle back into the shadows. I don’t like people seeing my face. Years of torture can break even the most outgoing.
I don’t think they know I’m here. I can see them, though. They aren’t talking, but the way their brows crease and how they shake and jerk their heads make me think they must be.
I lean forwards. I can see them properly now... A boy not older than me, with a dirty face and a man, possibly his father. The third is a slender woman. I can see the father’s eyes glinting even through this gloom. Both the boy and the man have ripped, tattered clothes. The woman just sits in a corner.
I don’t think they are talking any more, but the man’s eyes are even brighter. He’s sitting with his legs crossed and looks pensive.
The guard is coming again. He stops at the newcomers’ cell and laughs, then opens my door and deposits my food, and gives the second to my new neighbours.
I am grateful for the food, but now they know I’m here. While the man and woman eat, the boy stands and walks to the bars. He squints over at me. Oh no, now the man and woman know too.
I guess I’ll give them peace of mind. I step forwards...

Woot for random junk! There's another 170 page of that, but it isn't as dramatic. Squeep, I love writing stories... heart
