A few things to rant about, since stress has started to consume me. I really can't STAND the CTA. I know all these stops and go's are done for a good reason, such as construction on the tracks and whatnot, but for goodness' sake, can't people do these constructions at NIGHT when people don't really need to get to places without being late?

About the whole equipment problem with the train, that is simply UNEXCUSABLE. People should check the train throughly before letting it continue on the track, or the CTA should just release new cars, instead using ones that keep on breaking down. Honestly, the trains in Korea don't even break down that easily. Out of the twelve years I've ridden on the subway, it only happened ONCE, and that was back in the early ninties.

Since then I've NEVER EVER had ANY problem. In fact, back when that happened, we only stopped in the tunnel for no longe than thirty minutes before we were deposited at the next stop and boarded a new one. And what's up with these floppy cards that bend so easily? Why can't they just get us plastic, so that we don't run into the problem of having the damn card bend?

Furthermore, even though the train is jam packed, the freaking drivers still prod more people onto the train. What's up with that? Do they want us to squash each other to death or something? Well, I suppose I can't blame them for that. They can't see everything, so they probably don't know. I guess the blame can really go to the people who get in even if there's a lot of people there.

Still, the whole "we're fixing tracks" crap does NOT cut it for me, and neither does the equipment damage excuse!!!

Okay, I'm done ranting. Just so people know, I don't blame the CTA too much, I'm just really frustrated right now, and I needed something to blow up on. Since I rode the train this morning, I guess the CTA just popped into my mind. ^____^;;
