What would you say?
What would you say if I lunged into your arms
Hugging you with all the love inside of me
My love dripping down sticking to use like rain droplets would stick to grass?
If I cried and never stopped
A river that flowed through my soul
And drowned my heart?
If I lied down in the earth's sea and never came back up
Turning to stone…cold, bitter, and damp
A lost and forgotten statue sunk?
If I turned away right now and you never saw me again…
Like a faded memory?
You try to grasp it but it slips through your boney fingers like a faded memory...
