So like... here's how the whole job/car thing went so far!
Starbucks hasn't called back yet. I went job hunting on Wednsday, and I went to 5 different places, 2 places gave me applications, 1 place wanted me to come back and bring my resume, and another said to come back to meet the owner on Monday. The first place I went to doesn't hire under 18.
As for the permit thingy... my stepmummy says the DMV isn't open on weekends. So I'm going to have to go next week... wish me luck! sweatdrop
The place that wanted me to bring my resume wanted me to bring it Saturday (today) but I was busy all day. I'll see if they still want it Sunday. Monday I have to go to the other place and talk to the people.
Sometime next week I have to get my permit.
When I get my job, I want to save up for two main things- a car, and a cell phone. I don't know much about what kind of car, but the cell phone I want is I want to get the Metro PCS plan- 40 dollars a month, unlimited service, no contract. Why isn't *everyone* signing up with them? I guess maybe other companies have things they don't or something? I don't know. And I was looking at the phones. The one I want is $209... but after a few months with a job I'll have enough for a cell phone.
I was hanging out with the boys today (Blake, Chris, Paul, and Mikey.) It was much more thasn I bargained for. stare For some freaky reason, I thought they'd be sweet and polite. Wow.
Chris and Paul were always so sweet before. And Paul's really little so he looks like a sweet innocent little kid. Wow, I'm mean. sweatdrop
Sooo... they were being loud and obnoxious. We love them anyway. Lesson learned, huh? I got Tiff-tiff's number though and I miss her lots and lots and lots!
