scene one from the movie I'm making!!! SCENE 1: kids sitting around at home, bored out of their minds, at a sewing table. There are buttons on the table, and Raven has her head back. Lily: I’m bored. Raven: [leans head back, looking emo and half-asleep/dead] Uuuuuh-huh. Kate: [thinks] Maybe we could- Raven: I’m not going to watch Titanic AGAIN. Kate: But it’s so- Raven and Lily: -sweet, touching, and romantic! Aw, Rose and Jack….[making fun of Kate –acting really sappy] Kate: Uggh, okay, fine! PAUSE Kate: What if we- Raven: I will not go check out boys at the park, Kate. My hormones aren’t THAT screwed up. Lily: [eyes widen] Hormones? What’s that? Kate [quickly] Uh, it’s, uh, um….. Raven: It’s a type of snail. Kate: [turns to look at Raven, like, “WHAT??] Lily: REALLY??? Eww, hormones are gross. Kate: Ooh! I’ve got an idea. Why don’t we learn how to knit? [smiles happily] Raven: [stares] Oh. My. God. Kate: [sighs in exasperation] well, YOU come up with something then! Raven: Whatever…I’m gonna go listen to Panic! At the Disco. [stands up to go] Kate: No! Not that whiny girly man again! For God’s sake, get some GOOD music! [grabs Raven’s arm and pulls her down] Raven: Oh my God, you are so weird sometimes, Kate…it IS good music….He understands my inner pain. Kate: It’s a transgender emo whine-screaming into a microphone to the “beat” [does quotes] of a bunch of crashing Lily: [has been tapping two buttons she found together for a while. Starts to speed up, looking very focused] Raven: It is not! It is like, my soul’s companion, okay? You are insulting my soul buddy! [whiny emo voice] Lily: [starts tapping more furiously] Kate: [voice getting louder, stands up]It’s awful! Listen to something HAPPY for once, will you?? Lily: [starts giggling furiously and loudly as she hops up and down tapping the two buttons together rapidly] Kate and Raven: [finally notice Lily. Look at each other, seeming freaked out]. Kate: Uh, Lily? PAUSE Kate: [louder] LILY! [Lily snaps out of it] what’re you doing? Lily: huh? [hands still vibrating slightly] Raven: [tiptoes towards Lily, over-dramatically being cautious, and carefully takes the two buttons from her, then leaps away] Lily: I was just trying to get your attention. [grins] Kate: [sighs in exasperation] Of course you were. Lily: Let’s go get a sandwich. I want a sandwich. Raven: Yeah, I’m hungry. Kate: Okay, fine. Let’s go check the kitchen. get up and leave PLEASE COMMENT!!! I'd love suggestions and thoughts and opinions!!!

	Okay, if you would like more creative names (not insulting you) I invite you to check out babynames.com. I am going to go do that right now. See, usually for certain characters, you might get a sort of "sense" on what sound of letters would work well for them. Like, for you, the letters, C, L, and Z work. So we might chose a name that starts with C, L, or Z.

	I like these names. I've written two scenes and the characters are already growing on me. I don't want to change them, KATE. Sorry, I just like the way they fit the characters! And I don't think anyone else minds.....they can tell me if they do, of course, but I'm not gonna promise to change anything with the names, is all. I choose to be stubborn with this.

	I love it so far! Emo people = teh awesome! And the names are good.. they don't need unusually names... other than Raven. It's really good, Zoe! So... when do I come in...? mrgreen

	To answer Zeta's question: Raven was originally going to be a girl, but when I cast you as Raven I decided I thought you'd have a lot of fun with a sort of punk/emo boy, so I changed it. His real name is Roger, though he hates it, so he changed it to Raven. Thank you Emma! And I think in our pm we talked about where you'll come in, so ya.... I'm sorry Maya! Tell me the name you had in mind, and I'll think about it....still, I DO like Kate.....I'll consider, though. Sometimes you have to tackle things you don't feel like, you know? Try something new, and just bull into the challenge!
