Why Must We.. What is a soul mate? Why must we have one, craive (spelling?@_@) for one, need one???? Is it to feel security? No longer have that lonely feeling when you get up in the morning and have no one there lying beside you to greet you when you wake up? What if you meet your soul mate and you fall madly inlove with them, but yet... their just to far away from you, or that your soul mate is trying to find something else in a person that you lack of..then what? Choose to life your life alone.. or go out there to try and find another one? But why must we really need a soul mate for? Their are over a thousand people out there who aren't even with their soul mates and yet seem happy with that. Why? Why do humans get into a fuss over finding a partner? Wouldn't it just be better to live alone? Not worring weither the other one is cheating on you, or is lead a double life, or having an abusive partner... or worry if you partner is with you because he wants sex out of you or money or just plainly uses you. Why do we take a risk because our instincts wants us to have a partner? Does instincts know what its like to get your heart lied to, having hopes all crushed and shatered, discapointment in yourself, an unbelivable sadness, and just want to stop living? No, because our insticts tell us that their are " More fish in the sea " and " You'll find the right one someday ". Sometimes its just better not having a partner all together. Meh....What do you think?

	I'm assuming "by what you think you mean?" what do I think... well I don't believe in soul mates, as even my closest friends and family irritate and enrage me at times. I believe that we seek out a companion for several reasons: 1. Security in numbers 2. Reproduction 3. Economic stability 4. Psychological stability and 5... well I don't know about that one but I'm sure it exists. Overall I think it is ultimately for the purpose of passing on our DNA and continueing the species... or for some of us it is an ettempt in having someone left when we are gone to finish something we started. Either way I think we all need someone. Some of us need more than one ... have to cut this short. Continue at later date.

	Its still human instincts... thats all it is... and thats all it will ever be.. even when you try to get away from it , but society and every one else just keep bugging you that there is such a thing.. that if you life alone you'll be like a freak just because you want to be alone or as some put it, as sex deprived person... -_-; because thats all what it is these days... you see it on tv, even on kids shows! so many people are well off on there own and they are pretty in the economicly stable that if they find someone, like example a greed person who only cares for money will drain the person that their with... you know, the more you look around, the more you can clearly see that love has no meaning in this world. its all about money.. and looking good.. that its just so pathetic...

	Not quite. If I find someone that matches my needs and expectations, it won't be for looks or money. Those are perks but all in all minor in the overall match. I need someone with intelligence the mindless bimbo, though physically desireable is not really in the running. Sure if I wasn't governed by my rules/laws, I would date them long enough to sleep with them then dump them after things started getting stale however that is way the laws exist, to prevent my personal misconduct. So overall I agree on some of your points but overall I disagree with your overall statement. 2 people can have an intimate relationship that is meaningful in more than the monetary or physical way. See my relationship with my family. I loath them almost despise them, however they are my family and I "love" them unconditionally, same goes with the flaws in my partner should I ever have one. One has to be willing to make sacrifices and allowances if one wants a successful relationship in all things, not just love.
