A friend of mine who put so much faith in me is leaving tomorrow. I never thought I'd get emotional, knowing that I'd see him again. I never really had anyone have so much faith in me - believing the I could do something in the face of adversity is a pretty humbling thing. I'm greatful, a little too greatful. Its hard saying goodbye, so I guess my words of choice tomorrow night will be "see you later".

	I'm so sorry, Hakumei-san. I know how this feels. My best friend -- the one I would die for, the one I may be in love with but dunno for sure -- is leaving in a month for Alaska. She won't be back for several years. It makes me... ...want to cry.
