Hey everybody! This is my first online journal entry so don't mind if it sucks because I'll get the hang of it. So anyways, I guess I should write a bit about myself first. I live in Belleville and go to Prince of Wales Public School. I am 12 years old and am in Mr. Fry's class (7F). My best friends are Jessica, Sylvia, Maddy, Niki, Nick W., Nick K., Lizzy, Natasha, Nicole K, Nicole L, and more. I have three hamsters named Timbit, Cheese, and Nibbles, two cats named Pokey and Todd, a million, zillion fish(most of them don't even have names) and a bird named Atheana (I think that's how you spell it sweatdrop ). Today was kind of boring. I went with mom to give her boss some money and then when we got home we were supposed to go to the mall to pick out the frames for my glasses but I truck was leaking something so we had to wait. Mom got tired of waiting and went to ask Amanda to drive us and, of course, she said yes. When we got to the mall, we had to go straight to the glasses store (what, I forgot what it was called redface ) to pick otu my frames. I need glasses because on Tuesday, I went to see an eye doctor and found out that I am far sighted and slightly near sighted. Also I have astigmatisum and a catarac (okay, that's not how you spell them but that is what they sound like) in my left eye. For those of you who don't don't know what that means, it mean that my left eye is not completely rounf and that there is this thing in my eye that will make me lose sight and when I am older (a lot older), I will have to have surgery to get it take out. That's okay with me though, because I have already had two surgeries (one on my left hip and another on my left arm). Might as well tell you about them while I'm here. A couple years ago, right out of no where, I just started limping and my doctor told my mom it was growing pains but I kept on limping. After a month or two, I went in for x-rays and it said nothing was wrong. Then I went for nuclear medicine and then it showed that I had something wrong. My doctor said that I had a hip disease and that it would eat away at my hip and in a few years I would have to have surgery to get an artifical hip. Now I don't know about you, but I was scared. My doctor told me to go to Kingston to get it checked out. My doctor in Kingston told me that I didn't have a disease but I just had a joint slip. So I had surgery a week later. The other time I had surgery, I had broken my arm and my bone was poking out and had to had surgery to put it back in. Wait, I totally started a whole new story there. Well anyways, when we got to the glasses store, the lady there told me that thick glasses were in style (or maybe it was just a trick to get me to buy thick glasses confused ) so I tried on a pair of cheetah print one which looked HORRIBLE!!! Then I tried this cute pair that was black and orange (orange is my favourite colour) but then I saw them. These adorable pair of red and blue ones with fake diamonds on the sides. The lady said that they were okay but they had much prettier ones over there (she pointed right) but I told her I would not leave without having those glasses. She kind of looked at me funny and put them in a small bag with my name on them and told me that they would be ready between Thursday and Sunday. Now I'm happy because I have awesome glasses. Well, I guess I should get going because my hands kind of hurt from typing and they feel like they are gonna fall off eek . Well see you next time!
