ok, so the big band bash is sortof a concert for the school band. the band plays while we eat and watch. well, i went, and there was alot more than eating and listening to jazz. me and some friends walked outside, we played poker for a while, and we even got some invitations for strip poker. (turned them down of course) well anyways, one of my friends comes from around the building and she's crying. now, i have no idea what she's cryin about. i later figured out that one of my friends supposedly offered her weed. and that's when i go looking for the truth. aparently, he wasn't smoking weed, he is innocent. he, like me, is looking for answers. i start looking around and most of the girls still think my friend offered them weed. well, as this continues, more girls start crying. eventually, one of my good friends, Tanya, is crying. so i sit her down and comfort her. as that's goin on, people are running all over the place looking for either the principal so they can tell them about the unknown weed, or their friends so they can figure out if there really is weed. now, somewhere in this mix, the girls find out that my friend, Justin, who was looking for answers, is in a gang. i already knew this, but it's big news for them. they start ballin about how this is gonna change their lives forever. then they ask me if i'm in a gang. I tell them no. they just kept pestering me on how i should never be in a gang. so i left. (just went 'round the corner into the school) i come back later and people are telling me to stay away from the grass cus there is a gang there. i finally find Tanya and we head inside for some poker. then another girl is crying cus one of her sisters died in a gang shoot out a few years back, and one of the guys from the gang just pretended to have a gun and shoot her. Justin comforts her. now by this time we have figured out that Justin is innocent, we have no idea who is in the gang, and the jazz band has stopped playing. finally, people are leaving and going home. most people stop crying, and the people who haven't are already in their cars. so really, by the end of the day, i have no idea who was in the gang, if the gang was even real, or if this will really change our daily lives. oh well, i'll figure it out at school.
