Shadows of misfortune,
I lie alone,
Crying for what I have lost of late,
Even though it saddens me,
Rage forces itself through,
I look to the sky for answers,
A god I'm told exists,
But my heart ignores,
For one person showed me love,
Now hate forms again,
I want love so badly now,
Now that I've seen it,
I must feed on it to survive,
It's the only thing I need to thrive,
Few will ever offer it again,
And I have lost hope in it's originater,
But there must be someone,
If not, I surely will die.
