Yeah. I just felt like typing this out.
Right now, I'm listening to Horse the Band. They play metal with some keyboard thrown in there. It sounds pretty good. That, and their keyboardist looks like Napoleon Dynamite.
I've also been listening to Avenged Sevenfold (The first cd and some of the second. You know, back when they were good.) Sounding the Seventh Trumpet is pretty damn good.
X-Ray Spex Is a great punk band, with a female singer that sounds beautiful. If you like the old 80's punk, then listen to them.
Thrice is great. I really like Blood Clots and Black Holes. LMAO! It sounds so emo, but it's damn good emo. Brilliant guitar leads, great drum pieces, and beautiful vocals make them a great choice.
Primus is a good choice is you love listening to good bassists. The band as a whole isn't too good, but if you focus on the bass line, you'll be rewarded by some of the best playing I have heard in a while.
Interpol is a nice mellow Euro-punk band that deserves special attention. Good love songs, beautiful guitar melody, nice bass lines, and rather simple, yet brilliant drumline makes for a great band for relaxing.
Anti-Flag is a great band for punk fans, hitting you with fast paced anti-government songs like You Got to Die For Your Government And Operation Iraqi Liberation (O.I.L.)
Deicide is a crazy satanic death metal band that is sure to please any non-Christian there is. I'm not saying that I'm a Satanist, but these guys have destructive vocals, freakishly awesome guitar solos, and insane drum lines.
Hot Hot Heat is beautiful punk, with awesome bass lines and beautiful vocals. I dont know how a man can have such a great voice.
Well, I'm done. I have no idea why I wrote this. I think it was for the gold. LOL!!
