What were we doing, again? *rose*
Jirian's POV

As Dragon melted the icicles in the human's body, Jirian felt much more at ease. Fii-aia was watching Dragon, as if trying to see the working of the Dragon-magic. Jirian knew she could learn nothing from a Dragon. They were superior beings. Drik stood up with the black coco in his arms, and walked quietly over to Jirian.

"Sir? The cat seems to be unpetrified..." Drik's unfinished sentence was noticable.

"But?" asked Jirian, bothered by what he could tell might just be a stupid question.

"It's not conscious yet, sir." Drik answered.

Jirian looked down at the cat, and the rythmic rise and fall of its chest. "It will be fine, Drik. Just sleeping. Best... hold him, for now."

He walked over to Dragon, and she suddenly returned to what he supposed was her normal height. She now towered above him by a few feet. Dragon told him briefly about her daughter, who would be there in a moment. Jirian wanted to say a few things first, as he assumed this might be some kind of... scene.

"Lady Dragon. Your request to dock at Lia Alit Iil-tia has been granted, and any assistance you may require we will provide." Jirian paused. "What... " he had to start again.

"What was the purpose of your visit, if I may inquire, Lady?" he was sure it was something important. Jirian was sure she would remember the unstable terms she left on during her last... visit. He meant no disreapect; on the contrary, he wanted to help.

Just then, a young girl came running down the hall, with willowy green hair and... cat-neko ears? Jirian's eyebrow quirked. He waited calmly to see what might happen next.

Taran's POV

Taran blinked a few times. He was... on his back, staring up at the ceiling. He heard something about needing rest, and someone mentioned that he wasn't young. He almost smiled at that. A young mage? Were there such things?

He sat up carefully, and looked around. It almost looked like a battlefield. There were beings down in a few places, and fairies tending to them. Odd.

He looked over at Rose. She looked so pale. He tried to speak, but felt unable yet to do so. Everything seemed a bit fuzzy- as if he had been hurt. He blinked, and cursed at himself under his breath in Dragon-speech. He had been hurt. And by ice again, if he judged correctly. Why did it always have to be ice?
