Things haven't been going that great for me these past couple weeks. But have I mentioned that it's been snowing a lot lately? Snow days coming out the wazoo--I've never had so many snow days in one year. Usually I'll get maybe a two-hour delay from a light snow, or once in a blue-year an actual day off from snow. I think before this year, I had... three? Four? Total days off from school because of snow. But we've had about five just this one year. I think more. And then a whole lot of delayed starts and half-days. It'd be great if it wasn't for the fact that one more snow day or any day off for any reason, and school will be going into July. Not to mention that it also means no after-school activities, and there's less than a week before opening night for the play. We badly need to practice. . _. It's not that we're horrible--It's just that we could be so much better.
But the end of the semester has been delayed, so there's more time for teachers to get some learning in before the semester finals start popping up. xD Thankfully the tests aren't until after the play, so I'll have plenty of time to study after school.
What am I gonna do with my spare time once school is out?! I've dropped piano, I've dropped Girl Scouts, I've completed driver's ed, I'm not in any clubs (Because I was in the play!), I don't have any projects... I'm going to have four hours of free time every night! Maybe I'll spend more time on homework? But I really don't want to. I'd rather just lay in the middle of the floor doing nothing and being bored than do my homework. Maybe I'll finally clean my room. I cleaned it up some so that I could have guests over, but maybe I'll finally tackle the underneath of my bed. And underneath my dresser and TV stand! I'll clean everything out--then I can finally redecorate my room.
... I'll get some graphing paper sometime and measure everything out. Then I can organize it on paper and see if it would be worth it.
I'm so worried! My cat had a seizure. Little Sparkle-Ann. Man, she has a lot of nicknames. > _> She had a petit mal seizure. They're hard to spot unless you know what you're looking for, especially in cats. So I'm kinda proud that I noticed it. But I only noticed it because another one of my cats used to have petit mal seizures all the time, and we didn't know it until he had a grand mal seizure and took him into the vet's. But either way, I don't want my cat to be having seizures! We're so close--she's like a daughter to me. ; ~; I didn't know a human could bond with a pet so well until Sparkle came along. And she's too young. I don't want her getting chronic illnesses until she's fifteen. I'm going to keep a close eye on her and see if it happens again within the next few months. For all I know she was high on catnip. But then, it might be that all those times I thought she was on catnip, she was really having a seizure.
I hurt my knee in PE! Doing the warm-up exercises. I'm always complaining to the teacher that the warm-ups aren't any good, and do a lot of damage. I always end up aching really bad for days after we do the warm up exercises. Not actual exercises! But the warm-ups, because I can feel the muscles they're using. We were doing one that I particularly disliked because it stretched things that shouldn't be stretched, and I felt a sharp pain in my knee. It wasn't like a muscle being pulled, but it felt like a small segment of muscle in my knee, above and under my kneecap, was being pulled. xD It hurts on and off. I can walk just fine, no problems. But when I need to do things like sit down on the floor, it uses that very muscle. It's really painful. If this keeps up for a couple weeks, I'm going to see the doctor. And then maybe I'll chew out my PE teacher. He's a terrible jerk, anyways. :T
The movement we're doing:
It's fine once or twice, if you hold it and are careful. But we do twenty or more, each time you turn around and face a different direction, moving in a line down the gym. And you go as fast as you can, or else the teacher will yell at you or make fun of you for being behind everyone else. ... Also because you want to get it done and over with.
