Sort of an interesting day today.

Benchmark testing started yesterday. It sucks quite a bit. You go to your assigned homeroom, take a section of a test that's about one and a half hours to do, then sit around doing nothing for two and a half hours. Easy stuff, but I'm in all those fancy advanced classes...so yeah. sweatdrop The guy who sat behind me forgot to bring his cards this time, so passing the time wasn't as fun. I was able to sleep for a while, though. A movie started on the network of TVs in each of the classrooms about an hour and a half before we got out; it was Princess Diaries. Not too bad, I guess.

The good thing about today was after testing was done, we were let out of school. Bad thing for me was that I had to stay to volunteer at the competition being held at our school, the reason why we were being let out. It wasn't too bad. I sat around and played cards with the other volunteers and played poker after most of the schools that were competing were escorted to their rooms. The gym where the first event was held was a sight to see. eek Anywhere around two hundred students sitting in desks...doing...something. The interesting thing about this whole volunteering thing is that I probably only worked an hour, and got five since I was just there. Somewhere around three hours into the thing, the students were called in to be timers for the interview and speech competition. I was missed in that net. The last half hour I was there, I was put to work at the registration table again, but nothing really happened.

The highlight of my day happened back here at home, though. I had told my mom that I left my cell phone at home when I was back at school. It was actually back in my homeroom sitting on the whiteboard tray because the teacher wants us all to put 'em up there so they wouldn't interfere with the testing. Forgot to get it back, though. Silly me. So when my mom tells me to go search for my cell phone, I say it's back at school. Yelling, yelling, yelling. "You had five hours to go back and get it, and you didn't." Well yeah, my bad.

In other news, I'm downloading Ragnarok Online again. Saw an online comic about the game, and lets just say that the portrayal of Korean artwork of females got me enticed. So now I'm getting the client to get on a high rate server (100000x the regular rate, that is) to see what'll happen with my second serving of RO.

Tennis notes: HOLY CRAP. PLAY SOME FREAKING TENNIS. Damn weather.
