Yes, now about the matter of you finding a husband, youngh lady. You must find a good one soon. I heard those Maryland Sisters are finding some nice sooters, we should get the good ones before they're gone. ((sorry it came out if you wanna play along go ahead))She sighed with a frown and she folded her arms, "I don't want to marry yet..""Well, my dear it is not a matter that we can discuss, but Im sure you will find somebody. I did." said Allyna sighing a deep sigh.
May looked at her, "Why? Wh do they want me to marry?""Because my dear, your at the age now, and you cant live here your whole life." Allyna said trying to reasure her daugther but not succeding.
She pouted then looked out of the window of the carriage. They were traveliing to the neighboring kingdom. She didn't like being a princess at all.They arrived at their destanation and got out. "Well, May I really think you'll like Prince Conor." and that was the last thing she said before they entered the magnificent castle. ((I want May to fall in love, not with this guy, well if you want, but I dont want her to run away please.))

May sighed and looked around. "I really really..." SHe sighed adn stopped, she looked at the beautiful gardens and wondered if she would be able to sneak away after introductions to explore.((Im gonna be a guy now K)) ((wait I need a hawt name for a guy))((=P Um...Conner? Aaron? Aiden?))((I think Im gonna go with Skyler))
Skyler straighten his tunic and went forward to the guard with his invitation. The guard looked at it and let him pass. He got in, the first time he was invited to a real ball, something amazing was bound to happen.
((Is it a ball they are going to?))
May looked around rubbing her arms then she remembered the dress her mother bought her for this ball in honour of the prince's brithday. It was beautiful.AS Skyler entered the castle he saw a beautiful maiden across the garden. He stopped in his tracks. Deeply looking into her eyes. ((his eyes are blue and he has short brown curly hair))((Is May alone in the garden?)) May looked around at the garden in awe at how beautiful it was.((yeah that would be better)) Skyler was still looking at the beautiful girl, amazed. He came back from his day dream and started walking slowly towards her. He had to find out more about her.
May then walked at a bench and sat down wondering if she would ever get away from going around trying to find some prince to marry.Skyler came quitely up to her and asked "May I sit?" gesturing to the bench.She looked at the man and nodded not really with it still lost in thought.Skyler wasnt really a man to poke into someone life, but something seemed to be troubling his maiden. He said just that. "Im not one to poke into peoples lives but you seem troubled. May I ask what is wrong?" he said, concern in his eyes.
"Hmm?" SHe looked at the man, he looked like an angel and she almost dozed off in a day dream, "Uh...oh....I guess it's just.." She sighed and looked at the ground, "My mother is taking me round trying to marry me off.""Oh, I see. So it's not just my mother trying to marry my sister off. I see it's more of a mother thing, just marrying off their children, even if they know they arent ready. Well, I can only tell you that your mother thinks shes doing the best for you." he said smiling his angelic smile. ((God, what I'd give for a guy like him))She looked at him and smiled weakly, "Wow, so you actually know what it feels like?""Well not exactly since it is my sister, and seeing as I am not my sister, I dont know exactly what its like but I understand what your going through." he said trying to make her laugh.
She smiled weakly and nodded, "Thank you for trying to cheer me up..I'm gratefull for that someone trully cares."Skyler faintly blushed. "Yes, I ummm... should we go to the ball now. May I dance with you?" he said raising his head looking at her beautiful eyes. They were gleaming and sparkly. They were a light caramel color. Without thinking Sklyer blurted "You have beautiful eyes."
May blinked and then blushed at that comment, "Thank you and yes, you can dance with me." She smiled the got up holding her hand out to him.Skyler took her hand and then looked at her and said "I do not know you name. Mine is Sklyer."
"Oh, Pr-- Um, May." She smiled not wanting to let her identity slip, he would treat like some pampered pooch but she wanted to be talked to normally."Thats a pretty name... but were you also born in May?" he asked
"In the neihgboring kingdom." She nodded."Oh but I was asking if you were also born in the month of May." Skyler said trying not to be rude.
"Oh..>" SHe blushed and rubbed the back of her neck, "May.""THats a good month, theres beautiful flowers that bloom in that month.." Skyler said smilingMay smiled, "Yes." She then looked at the palace and heard the music and the introductions being called."Shall we go?" Skyler asked noticing her looking towards the palace.
She looked at him and nodded with a weak smile.He led her towards the palace and then came into the beautifuly adorned ball room.
May smiled adn followed but she had to stay away from her mother who was there and probably looking around to try and get her to introduce ehr to the prince.Skyler noticed her unease and said "May, if you dont feel comfortable with me here you dont have to dance with me. I can see you later."
"No No! It's okay! It's just my mother is looking for me..I want to dance with you but she'll drag me away..""Well we don't have to dance here, there is music out in hte back garden too." Skyler said smiling reasuringly
May looked at him and smiled with a grateful nod.He led her to the garden outside. There was a small concert of a few vionlinst. Skyler took Mays hand and bowed and asked to dance with her while kissing her hand.
She blushed and curtsied with a weak smile.They danced the night away or until the song was finished and the night was no longer night.
May was tired but was having fun then she heard a yell "May!?!" She sighed, "Oh no...here comes mother...""Would you wish me gone, or face your mother with my help?" Skyler asked kindly.

"Um, I don't mind." She smiled.(I know, you never know about those cycos out there) "Ok, we'll take her together." Skyler said trying to make May laugh. He had been able to easly laugh while they were dancing, so carefree. He loved her smile and how she laughed. He would give anything to do it countless times.

May was with a boy. A farm boy by the looks of it. ANd for a farm boy, pretty well of, if she had to tell the truth. But who said Queen Allyna would tell the truth. She did what she had to get what she wanted, and if that included lying she was up for it.

She smiled."Well here she comes." Skyler said as if a tornado was coming and he was ready to hold onto the ground for dear life.
Allyna was storming towards them. But them when she got there, she was extremely calm. "Good evening." she said bowing her head in a very small bow.

May sighed, "Hello mother...""Hello Darling, how has your night been?" Allyna asked politely.
"Fine thanks, yours?" She replied politley."Well, quite boring acctualy my dear. And who might I ask is this fine young man?" she said ((ok by now you should be surprise your mom hasnt yelled at you or anything and she seems happy for you))
May looked at her mom, suprised she nhadn't yelled yet and saying that the ball was boring?!?! She snapped out of it and stumbled, "Um, this is Skyler, he is a friend of mine.""Well I'm glad you've met some one interesting here, there aren't many, really. Anyways I'm glad to see you are having fun my dear. Carry on, we will leave at the stroke of midnight." Allyna said then whispered more to herself then anyone else "Too bad, I would have liked to see this go somewhere."

Skyler stood there bewildered. May's mother was the queen, meaning she was the princess, why was she dancing with a mere peasant. And her mother seemed okay with it. May had something to say, he was sure of it.

May sighed and looked at the ground, "Yes..." She felt terrible, she didn't want to leave.Skyler lifted her chin and said "I know the secret you have tried to hide from me is a very, well, hard one to live by. Being a princess is probably hard for you and maybe not what you want, seeing as you have to marry some one in which you have no desire in marrying, but I understand, I shall leave you be." Sklyer took one last look at May and turned to go.
May looked at him heartbroken as tears rolled down her cheeks and then she ran over to him and hugged him, "No...please don't..." SHe said crying into him.Skyler smiled at her, "I don't think I would have really left you." Then he lifted his hand and held her cheek, and gently kissed her.
Her eyes widened adn she went bright pink, her heart thumped in her rib cage. it was her first kiss and she had never felt the fleeting sensation she felt before.Skyler never felt so alive and never wanted to let this moment end, but he knew it had to. He pulled away only relizing he wanted to go back, but May looked so suprised that he didn't.
May stood there shocked then she touched her lips stunned, "Wha--?""Are you ok?" Skyler asked almost laughing. He had never been kissed either but he was much stronger and very much in love. SO much in love that he wasnt as nervous as May seemed right now. Did she not like him the way he liked her?
May never thought that he felt this way about her then grew a bit calmer then leaned in again and kissed him softly.This was too good to be true, Skyler thought. What would happen next he didn't know. What he did know was that he didnt want to leave from this spot, he didnt want this moment to end. He was in love, and he couldnt help noticing that May didnt seem to be stopping either, or wanting to.
May's heart was racing as she continued to kiss, she felt like she could fly, what was this sensation? She never wanted the feeling to disappear.Ding Dong((sorry best clock I could do)) Skyler reluctanly pulled away and looked up. The clock read 12.
[Hehe] She sighed then looked at him, "I don't want to leave though..I...I love you.."As odd as it seems butterflys poped up in Skylers stomach... She loves me. He could hear a chorus of bells as he thought Well tell her how you feel you idiot dont just stand there "May, I love you too." He finally sputtered out. Then he kneeled on one leg and took her and and said "May, I know we have only just met, but, will you marry me?" Sklyer looked right into her eyes as he said this...May looked at him wide eyed and shocked but before she could reply, and arrow empaled her through her arm. She collapsed to the ground with a shrieked and started to bleed uncontrollably.((where the hell was that from)) Stunned and scared for May, Skyler didnt know what to do, but then intinct took over. He grabbed his sword and looked to the east where the arrow had come from. He was going to kill who ever had shot May, but he had to save her before she died.

May whimpered crying her heart around as she clutched to the wound and gritted her teeth. Some guards came bustling in."Please, can you help her. She was injured." Skyler said in desperation. The guards laughed and the leader said to two others "Help this one. Bring her up to the castle." Skyler followed the soldiers up the stairs. He wasnt going to leave May's side.
May had passed out and it was believed that they were assasins from a distant kingdom that had shot May since the arrow wasn't from these parts. The palace medic looked at the arm and bandadged it. "This is a poison arrow. Quite rare too...must have been rich assasins.""But why would they shoot her in the arm and give her a chance of surving. If they really wanted to kill her wouldnt they have shot her in the back? I think they were planning something bigger than just killing her. This isn't good." Skyler said holding May's head in his hand, holding a wet clothe to her fore head. By now May's mother had come in and was rocking back and forth on the chair in shock and no use to the medic since she was in shock and had no skills in the subject what so ever. Skyler however was skilled in healing as he had saved many cows from fever or birth, and even his mother from a heavy wound she had from a metall peice that got stuck in her side that happened during a storm. He had saved his father from a heart attack. In his family he was considered and angel, and to people in town, a very good healer. May did not know this, as she had never asked, but he was going to save her. Better then this mediocore medic. He told him his status and the medic backed away. "Anything you need, I'll get it for you." he siad knowing he could only be of use in this way.May was as cold as death and she couldn't move since she was too weak."I need some enevy, callem, and a bowl to mix them in. You know what the plants are right?" asked Skyler, May's life depending on how fast they acted. "Yes, I know enevy but not callem." replied the medic quickly. "It has purple leaves and blue flowers, wait no, in this season the flower is red, and they are just buds." said Skyler to the medic, looking deep into his eyes showing his desperation. "Okay, I will be as quick as I can." said the medic and ran out of the room, leaving only Skyler, May, her mother and the two guards that had brought May here.
May moaned a little grabbing onto the wound in pain, still crying in she unconciousness."May don't touch the wound. Don't worry your going to be ok. I'm a healer, I will heal you and you will be just fine, I promise." Skyler said grabbing her hand and kissed it. "You'll be ok. I swear it." Skyler whispered so only they could hear.She squeezed lightly si then he could know that she heard what he said and fell back into proper unconciousness."May, you have to stay awake... you have to. If you fall asleep this will only make it harder. You need to stay consious. Come May... Please." said Skyler lightly shaking her, then he looked over to May's mother and when he was sure she wasn't looking he kissed May full on the lips.
May murmured something and opened her eyes slightly as tears ran down her cheeks, she kissed back."I know this is hard for you." he said pulling back now that he knew she was concouis. "May I love you I would let andthing happen to you." Skyler said now kneeling by her side. "You trust me right?" he asked
May nodded a little bit holding onto his hand and hoping that her mother wasn't looking.Noticing her unease Skyler said "Don't worry, she's too much in shock to even understand. Before this all ends I think she'll need a bed in the Hosipital wing too." he said trying to ease her pain by trying to make her laugh.
May tried to smile but couldn't the poison was weakening her fast.The medic quickly rushed back in with the two plants and a bowl to mix them in. "Ok now the only thing I need is the same poinson from the arrow. Can we muster a pinch worth of some." Skyler asked the medic. Now May's mother was standing and yelled "Why do you want the poison for?" "Because, these two plants can form an antitote, but only if the poison is in the mixture. Clever isn't it?" he asked knowledgeably with an eyebrow arched. THe medic brought the pioson to Skyler. He put it in the bowl along with the plants and mixed it. Now Allyna was sitting down again. The medic was standing there in utter amazement. Now the mixture was ready, "Ok May, I know this may sound weird but, I need you to spit in the bowl." Skyler said bringing the bowl to her mouth.May didn't care, she spat init but then passed out suddenly.Luckily the way the medcine Skyler had made only needed to be smelled for it to work. He but the bowl under May's nose and held it there for several minutes then put it on the tabel next to him. "May, can you hear me? If you can hear me say something. Come on." Skyler said holding her hand again. May after a few minutes opened her eyes which her swollen a little as then her skin started to return to it's normal colour.((ok but May hasnt said anything)) Skyler saw May's eyes opening, but he needed to hear her voice. That was vital. If the patient didn't respond, then you would most likely lose them. Skyler had never lost a patient and he wasn't about to. "Come on May, speak to me. Say something, anything." Skyler tried again.
((Yup, getting there =P))
She murmured, "S-Skyler?" She said weakly and tired.Skyler sighed deeply. "Im so glad you ok." he said picking her up into his arms out of pure joy and kissed her. He didn't care if May's mother was looking her not, she should be thankful that he saved her daughters life. He was so happy he got May back. There was absoultely nothing that could make him any more happier... or maybe there was...
May kissed back snuggling into him, she had no idea what had happened but she felt so safe now wih Skyler."Well, shall we go?" Skyler asked Allyna "She's needs rest, and I don't intend to leave her side for a second just in case a fever strikes up." he said blankly.

"Yes, well that's the least I expect from you... Skyler. Now, come we will tell the carriage driver and emercancy has occured and we must hurry. It's a thing our home is near by." Allyna said.

Skyler was suprised at Allyna's understanding, and that she remembered is name, and that she suddenly was aware of what was going on. He followed her to the carriage and they rode off into the night.
Two hours later they got out, May sleeping, Skyler picked her up and brought her to her room that Allyna led him to. He didn't leave her side for two days as meals were bought to him and someone to relieve him if he should need to use the outhouse, but besides that he did not leave May and she healed quickly.

May opened her eyes and yawned a little looking up, "Mm?W-Where am I?" She murmured and shivered a little."You're at home." Skyler answered. "I'm glad your awake, your fathers here." he continued.

May moaned then looked up seeing Syler and her eyes widened, "Skyler!" She sat up instantly ignoring the imediate pain and she hugged him tightly."Hey, be careful, moving that fast could rip the stiches." But the hug was warmly welcomed. Skyler hugged back and yelled "She's awake!" To the gaurd outside. "She's awake." he whispered in May's ear before kissing her neck.

May, enjoying the kissing on her neck and she tilted her neck and kissed his neck.Skyler was the one to break it off, altough he was deeply enjoying hinself. "Come your father came from Scotland, just to see if you were ok." Skyler asked "Do you think you can walk? If not I can carry you to see your father." Skyler said politely.
"Mmm...I-I can try.." She said as then she turned as then she tried to stand up but her knees gave in, she yelped and fell back on the bed.Skyler laughed. "Ok thats not going to work, I'll carry you." Skyler picked her up as easily as if she were a fether. He brought her down the grand steps and into the main room where everyone was worring about May. In the center was her father. Skyler took her right towards him and asked someone he passed for two chairs. When he reached the king the chairs were already there for them to sit in front of him. Skyler set May on the chair and seated himself on the chair next to her. He brought the chairs closer together and put his arm around May, just in the event that she might fall.
May looked around, shocked that how how people were worried.((well shes the princess)) "Good evening my lord." Skyler said bowing his head.
"Oh, please Skyler, you have no need to bow to me, you saved my daughters life. I am the one that should be bowing to you. Now, my dearest May, how are you this night?" the king asked looking at May with bright and firey eyes.
(Heh sweatdrop )
May nodded, "I'm okay thank you Dad." The king sat up, "I have feared this would happen." May tilted her head, "What?" The king looked at her with a sigh.((well what does he fear that the assasins were after her or that she would fall in love with a peasant))
((Assasins, he is grateful for Skyler.))((ok)) "I feared that the assasins from the East would declare war on us. After so many years of peace and now they have plans to kill us all." said the king and then he sighed "Im just glad your ok. And thank god for you Skyler."
May squeezed Skyler's hand a little, the king sighed and continued, "That is why, you and your mother will be evacuating to somewhere safe." May looked up at her father, "Father...what about you?""Im going to fight for my people. Skyler are you going to fight with me? I know you want to kill the assasin who hurt May." the king said ask if he were talking about the weather.
Skyler looked at May then at the king. "Yes, Im along side you the whole way my king." Skyler siad torn between what he was asked to do and May.
May sighed and looked away from the both of them, if she could walk she would walk away. "Yes." May was heartbroken that Skyler had to go to war. She wanted to be with him."Don't worry my dear, Skyler will be back in time for you to umm... er... ((he was gonna say in time for them to marry)) I mean he is only going to be a healer. I will make sure he doesn't fight." the king said trying to reasure his daughter. "Someone please take May up to her room." he said looking towards the many survents. Two imedatly obyed. "I'll be up in a second we just have... arrange something, for you and I." Skyler said kissing May's cheek. "You will need to come down for dinner my dear, don't worry you won't be there alone Skyler will come up as soon as we're done." the king said.
May nodded with a sighed, then was helped up to her room.As soon as May was out of hear shot Skyler said "So, how shall we do this. We don't know when exactly the war will be over. True, the numbers of the assasins are small but they are elite killers, in this war it won't matter if we have a thousand men and they have only two. It would still take months, I dont think I can wait that long to get married." The king laughed and said "Well, I'm sure if you love my daughter as much as I thnk you do then you would wait the rest of your life. Am I right?" Skyler smiled an angelic smile that May would have killed to see. "Yes, your quite right." he replied to the king. "Well, there you have it. But lucky for you, you won't have to. We know how many the assasins numbers are. They have a hundred assasins. We have ten thousand and strong. Is that enough for you?" the king asked leaning forward towards Skyler. "Plenty." said Skyler amazed. He really liked the king. They had nothing but good laughs, even when talking about the assasins. "Well, with that said I think I can attend to May now. Right?" asked Skyler. "Huh? Oh, yes, go ahead, dinner should be ready in two hours." the king said awaking from a deep thought.
May went up to her room, after the servants left, she threw some big pillows on the floor and she practiced walking but then fell onto one of pillow and continued to practice with determination.When Skyler came in May was about to fall again but he caught her before she hit the floor. "Hey, if you want to be able to walk, your gonna need help, and a lot more rest." he smiled. "You don't want to pull a muscle. You have to remember, you haven't used them for two days. You need to take it a step at a time. First, just stretching excersises. Well we have two hours until dinner, we can practice in that time." Skyler said standing May up straight.
"Two days?" May looked up at him shocked as she got up but still clung to him, "That's how long I was knocked out?" The girl asked a bit worried but then turned the clung into a hug.Skyler hugged her back. "Yes May. Thats how long." Skyler laughed "And I haven't left your side the entire time." he smiled his angelic smile picked her up into his arms and kissed her.
May almost died from his smile then she closed her eyes kissing back softly and snuggling into him. She pulled away her eyes still closed, "Thank you....thank you for every thing...I love you so much.." She whispered."No, it's me who loves you!" Skyler said still smiling. "Your the best thing that ever happened to me, well except for my pet pig, but that was when I was nine." he said with not a care in the world.
May giggled then kissed him softly on the lips then pulled away, "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me.""Hmm, after being a princess?" Skyler didnt wait for the answer he just put her on the bed and layed next to her.
"No, to be honest, I've never liked being a princess. It's very controlling she said looking up at the ceiling."Yeah, I thought so." Skyler said throwing his head back laughing. "Everyone wants to be a princess, but every princess wants to be normal. Isn't that ironic?" Skyler asked not expecting an answer, it was a retorical question.May smiled and giggled, "Hm, how strange.""Indeed." Skyler said. ((do you think they should go down to dinner now or wait another hour))((Yeah, let's go down))
Nay leaned in and kissed him softly. ((In a few mins xP))((K Ill try not to get it heated up... LOL)) Skyler put his hand on May's neck and kissed back holding her close to him. This was the best feeling hehad ever felt before. Ting a ling a ling. That was the dinner bell. Skyler still held on to May not wanting the moment to end.
May continued but then heard the bell, she continued for a few more seconds then pulled away blushing.Skyler picked May up in his arms and took her down stairs to have dinner with the whole castle. The king sat at the end of the table and Skyler put May on the kings right hand side. Skyler seated himself in the empty seat next to her and held her hand under the table.
May help his hand and squeezed it softly underneath the table with a gentle smile.The food was brought out shortly after their arrival and the king made an announcement. "We have sad and happy times at the moment. The war with the assasins won't be easy. They are skilled elite fighters and we will need our best men to defeat them. The good thing, well most of us already know this, but the person who doesn't won't until well maybe tonight. What do you think Skyler?" Skyler looked up at the king and smiled. "Yes, I do think that person wil know this evening." Skyler answered leading half the room to sigh.
She looked at Skyler a bit confused about what her father was talking about."Don't worry you'll fid out soon enough May. I promise it's nothing bad." Skyler chuckeled. "Yes, you'll find out don't worry about it." He put his arm around May. The king continued but his vioce was drowned out as Skyler was thinking of how he was going to do. He looked at May, looked right in to her eyes. He kept his gaze and couldn't help but lean in to kiss her.
May looked back with a smile as she watched him lean in but was a little shy since everyone was watching ehr father but attention might be driven to them.Skyler pulled back understanding. "Sorry, I just can't think straight when I'm around you. Everthing just... happens." Skyler said wihtout a better word to describe it.
May smiled and touched his cheeks, "It's exactly the same for me..I love you." She smiled.Skyler smiled back and tried his best to restrain himself from kissing her. She was so erasitable. He decided on saying "Our love for eachother if forever, even after we die we will find eachother in heaven." He took May's hand and kissed it as he did when they first met.
May smiled and blushed wanting to kiss him but she thought better since her father was there. She kissed his cheek. To be honest she wasn't exactly that hungry but she would be later and ate a bit of her foor.Skyler ate with not a care in the world. He hadn't eaten with the rest of the castle before, since he had been eating with May for the last two days. Skyler looked around the gigantic hall. It was adorned with gold and maroon banners and a few simple laterns that held there perpose as a light fixture, though they were very dim and romantic. They finished dinner and the king didn't allow them to leave until they were alone and said "Good evening." as a dismal eyeing his daughter with a wide grin.
May looked at her father a little freaked out then she rubbed the back of her head with a sweet smile. "Hello."((why did you say hello your leaving))
(Oh, I thought they were starti ng a conversation sweatdrop ) May smiled and nodded to her head, "Good evening."((sorry that was my bad I put dismal instead of dismisal... like leaving LOL sorry)) Sklyer held his hand in May's and they walked towards the garden. "It's a beautiful evening." Skyler siad once they were in the garden. He led them to a bench in the middle of the garden.
May smiled, "Yes..." She smiled looking up at the stars."Do you see that constelation there?" Skyler asked pointing to the stars. "Thats the Princess of Conknife. She was destined to marry the prince of Elnoy, who loved her, but she didn't love him. He understood and allowed her to marry the one whom she did love. His love for her never ended but they did become good friends. When her husband died he did not ask her to marry him, but she soon fell in love with him, and so her destiny had been fulfilled. Isn't that odd?" Skyler was still looking at the stars when he asked May this. Then he said "Do you see the constelation next to her. That is the prince of Elnoy." he said smiling.
"Ooh...wow." She said looking up with a smile, "A medic AND a astrologist?"Skyler laughed and smiled a smile he had never smiled before. A care free smile. His most beautiful smile. The smile that showed he was in love.
May smiled back but looked more in awe. "Y-Your smile...it's so beautiful..."Skyler not noticing a change, just looked at her with a puzzeled look and siad "Yes, and so is yours."
May smied then looked up at the stars again.Skyler looked around the garden picked a flower and brought it to May. "This is envay. It was used to help heal you. And it is not only a medicine but a beautiful accesory for a fair lady." he said puting the flower in her hair. "It is a rare flower. I'm suprised you have it in your garden." Skyler continued. Then suprisingly he blurted out "I know I have asked this before but we were rudely interupted... May," he said now kneeling in front of her "Will you marry me?" he finnaly asked now smiling his most beautiful smile.
May smiled and blushed a little then nodded with a giant smile, "Yes!" She kneeled down and kissed him.Skyler had the most amazing feeling in his body. He held May close to him and kissed her back. "No ring! No fancy proposal. Just the simple stuff. May how could you say yes? He is a nothing, a nobody." said a man that appread from a shadow.
May heard the voice and got scared. She stood up looking at the man, "Because I love him. Who are you!?! And what are you doing in the palace!?!"((damn this is soo gonna sound like the to circle a story thing but its what I can think of... oh wait never mind I thought of something better I was gonna make him be like that guy who was gonna merry her Mays sister in the other one but I got somthing better.)) "How can you not regonize your own brother?"May's eyes widened, "S-Scadian!!!" She was shocked, "Father told me you died!"((oh I like that name)) "Well, as far as anyone knows, I am dead." Scadain said. Skyler looked at him closely and said "You were one of my patients in the last war. I brought you to full health because no other medic could do it."(Hehe, it's an r-p name used in an r-p I'm in =P))
May looked at them both shocked.Scadian took an involuntary step backwards. "You saved me?" He asked shocked.
May walked up and linked arms with him.((with who Skyler or Scadain))

"I will not be like my father to be nice to someone just because he saved the life of his daughter." he said turning his nose up. "Hmm? And you had to live with him?" Skyler whispered trying to make May laugh.
May giggled, "He'll seem a little harsh but he'll warm up.""Well youd think saving his life would make him grateful of me, but I guess not." Skyler whispered back. "Hey what are you two whispering about?" Scadian asked.
May smiled, "Nothing."Skyler smiled. His smile even left Scadian without a word. ((I couldnt do wordless LOL))
May looked at Scadian, "Um..maybe you should see father...let's go Skyler.""Yes, Im sure your father would be pleased that I saved yet another of his children from death." Skyler said walking with May to the library where the king spent most of his time. Scadian followed them just because he didn't want Skyler trying anything on his sister becuase no one was there to watch. Noticing this Skyler put his hand around May's waist.
May blushed but smiled carefree, since she didn't care what people thought of her anymore.Scadian was furios but still followed. The odd group finnalt made it to the library, without any outbreaks, and Skyler did most of the talking. "Good evening my lord." Skyler said bowing his head. "You have an unexpected guess." Skyler said swiching his hand to show the kings long lost son.
The king's eyes widened stunned and the book that he was reading slipped from his hands. "S-Scadian?" May smiled and held Sklyer's hand.((where do you live? You always seem to be on when I am)) Skyler leaned his head on May's. "How are you alive?" the king asked looking sceptically at Scadian. Skyler answered for him. "I saved him at the Battle of Tears when no other medic could. I had no idea he was a prince, just that he had to stay alive, and my orders were to heal him." Skyler said blankly. The king stared at Scadian then at Skyler then finally siad "Agian I am endebted to you Skyler. That is both of my children you have saved. What can I do to repay you?" the king asked. "What you have already agreed to." Skyler answered the king kissing May on her head. Scadian just stood there looking at the floor.

May smiled then kissed Skyler's cheek then looked at her father, "We'll leave you and Scadian."((US, Florida)) The king nodded and they walked out. "Hmm, so how shall we spend this beautiful night?" Skyler asked once they were out of earshot.
May giggled, "Hm, no idea." She then thought of something, "Wanna go watch the stars again, I have a nice view on my balcony."((Hey you know what, wheres he gonna sleep. I was thinking like a coach or sofa whatever you want to call it that was in May's room. What do you think?)) "Sure, that sounds good. I'll show you some other things I know."
May smiled, "Okay." She took his hand and walked with him smiling.((Hey I need to know if hes gonna sleep on teh sofa or not.)) When they got to May's room Skyler showed May just about every constelation he knew. And all the stories that went with them. When he finished he said "I didn't study all those things. My mother thought me them. She was an astroligist. In order to get acknowledge she had to act like a man and write her books as the authur 'James A. Smith'. The A stood for her real name, Allison." Skyler said smiling. He had never told anyone this.
May smiled, "Wow really!" She was extremely impreesed but she whispered it to kept quiet. (Let's call it a couch xP)"Yes, and my father got all the credit because my mother used his name, but thankfuly he wasn't greedy and he was even grateful that my mother could bring in much more money then if we were just farmers. Since I was a healer we used a great deal of our land to buy healing plants, with the money my mother earned, we became very wealthy." Skyler whispered back. ((Ok a couch it is, Im glad we diceded that.))
May smiled, "Wow.." She drawled off leaning into him looking deep into his eyes. (Yes! =])Skyler held her gaze. He held her tightly close to him. Then a thought occured to him. When was he supposed to leave for the war? The twinkle in his eye left at the disturbing thought of war turned them into worry.She saw the and frowned, "Are you okay?""Oh, its just that I don't want to leave you even if it is for just a few months."
May sighed, "Do you have to go? She asked as then she kissed him on the cheek."Well, it would mean a lot to your father." was the only thing he said although he also thought that if he didn't go it would make him look like wus. Plus he wanted to kill the assasin that had hurt May. "It's odd how a healer should want to kill some one as badly as I do now."
May smiled weakly and hugged him, "I have something for you." She smiled pulling away. She took of her neck a necklace which was a locket, pure silver.Skyler took the necklace and put it own his own neck. "Thank you." he said before kissing her.
She smiled and kissed back softly.((somethings gotta stop them...it cant last forever no matter how bad Skyler wants moments like these to last)) Just at the wrong moment when everything felt perfect and Skyler thought he was going to melt, it started to rain. He picked up May and brought her into her room. He layed her on the bed and closed the door to the balcony. Skyler came back almost drenched in rain, but he was smiling.

May watched him and laughed, "Aww...you're all wet!" She got up, "You gotta change out of those clothes." She nodded then went out of the room and came in with some clothes. "Don't tell Scadian." She whispered.Skyler laughed a weak laugh. "Thanks." he said taking the clothes from May. ((what should i do have him turn around and dress right there... oh he could have a long scar on his back from a sword or something... thats better then him just going to another room right?))

May smiled and nodded then walked over to a her bed nad sat on it.Skyler turned his back to May and took his shirt off, revealing a long scar going diagonally across his back. It was deeper on the higher part of his back than the lower part, but noticble none the less. Skyler quickly covered it by putting on the shirt. Then he replaced the lower garment that he had been wearing earlier with the one May had given him.
May saw the scar and tilted her head, she didn't want to bring it up if he seemed to hide it from her.((ok not what I expected but I can work it.)) Skyler turned around and sat next to May. "Well, I guess you diserve to know how I got the scar." he said noticing May's worried face.((xP)) May looked at him still worried. "What happened?"Skyler smiled and held May close to him and started his story. "I barely remember, it I was only six. What I do remember was that there was an attack on the village. The soldiers were looking for something, what I don't know, but they hurt anyone who didn't let them search they're homes. My father put up a good fight but one of the soldiers, I think the leader, just pushed him aside and then I don't remember much except for screaming. Then the next thing I knew I was waking up with this acheing pain. A medic suddenly appeared in my view. He turned me over and then I fell asleep again. When I woe up again the medic I had seen before was by my side. He smilied when he saw me wake up. My parents were right next to him, they kissed and hugged me for about ten minutes. By the time they stopped hugging me the medic had gone. Thats what made me want to become a medic." Skyler said.
May smiled and held his hand, "I hope that will never happen again.""I hope for the same. I hope for the same." he said hugging her tightly.
May hugged back tightly then kissed him.Skyler kissed back. Loving this sweet new world of his.May continued softly then deepened it then pulled away slowly.Skyler just held her there. Not a care in the world, and so much love in his heart.She smiled and snuggled, then she looked up at him with a smile.Syler smiled his gorgeuos smile and kissed May on her cheek her forehead and her other cheek. Then her lips again. He pulled back to get a looked at Mays face. And burst out laughing, which made his smile even more gorgeous.
May giggled and blushed then kissed his forehed, his two cheeks then his lips.Skyler was likeing their little game. He smiled and kissed her back then he went for her neck.
May smiled then kissed his neck back.Skyler pulled away. He out May's head in his hands and pushed her away slightly and looked at May smiling. He brought her back and kissed her head. ((I imagined it better then I wrote it... but you get the picture))((O.o confuzzled...))((ok all you really need to know is that hes hugging her close to him now the rest was confussing sorry sweatdrop ))((xP It's okay)) May rested her head on his chest and murmured, "I love you." (We need something to happen x3))((im working on it... xp )) Before Skyler could say the same, a guard came bursting in and said "The king must see you at once!" he said almost out of breath. "Very well then, I will see him imidaitly." Skyler said standing up. "Come on May, let's go sees whats wrong." he said giving May a hand.May grabbed Sklyer's hand and ran. "Something must be very wrong!" She said as she continued to run."I agree." Skyler said running along side her. The guard wasn't running with them he had run more than he wanted to for the day. ((just thought I should put in soemthing about the guard...))

May ran to the library and called out, "Dad?" She looked around worried and walked in."May, my dear. I'm glad you came so quickly. Is Skyler here too?" he asked. Skyler stepped in "Yes, I'm here. What is it that concerns you my lord." Even though the king had told him not to say 'my lord' he did it anyways out of respect. ((and cuz hes stuborn LOL xp ))
May looked at her Dad worried, "What is it." Her father looked at Skyler, "I'm so sorry Skyler." He smirked then morphed into a different man.((what different man. Her brother? or and assasin?))((Yeah, Scadian...he's one of the assasins.))((oh, thats a gooooood twist!)) Skyler stepped back. "Alright Scadian, whats going on here?" Skyler demanded.
Scadian smirked, "Of course..Orders from my master are to take my darling sister...in exchange of me being king...obviously I have killed the king." May eyes widened and she stood there shocked. "Oh you don't believe me?" Scadian asked as then he stepped aside showing a body on the couch, his eyes wide. May eyes watered, "F-Father....."Skyler held her from going to her muttering "It might be a trap." Then to Scadian "Who is you master?" Skyler asked.
Scadian chuckled. "Phobosia." May's eyes widened even more and her body began to shake then she yelled, "Scadian! How dare you! How dare you kill your own father and go to theur side!" Scadian chuckled, "Oh little brave sister, father always like you best and they downcasted me into the shadows..I wanted to rule...he would have chose you to be the futre ruler." May looked at him, unbelieving.Skyler stood there for a moment agast, and thinking of what to say next. "Well, I suppose you not going to just let us leave, are you?" Skyler finnaly asked.
"Well, Skyler, you may go back to your farm but I have business with my sister." He grinned wickedly."I'm not leaving without May." Skyler said defensively. Skyler scanned the room for weapons. There was one. It was to the right of him. Skyler took a few more steps back. Then asked "So, what will you do?" he asked trying to distract Scadain. "Isn't it obvious, I'm going to take my sister." Scadian answered. While Scadian was answering Skyler to a step to the right. He grabbed the sword that was on the table. He hid it behind him, hoping Scadian hadn't seen it. He had a little practice with a sword, but not near any great of skills as his as a medic. He held the sword behind him, making sure he could handle the weight.
May growled, "Scadian! I really can not believe this, how dare you!" She yelled as tears began to run down her cheeks. Scadian started to walk towards May, "Well, there is a good side of taking you, Phobosia is very interested with you. You shall probably become his little pet." May looked at him shocked then ran towards him and her fist connected with his face. Scadian fell back shocked.Skyler took this moment as an advantage. Skyler swept the sword across Scadian's torso. It left a deep gash. Although it hurt Skyler on the inside to hurt someone instead of help them, but he needed to protect May. He knew he should have finished him off but killing wasn't Skyler's thing. He grabbed May and started running out of the castle. "Where can we go?" he asked May.
May ran with himas tears spewed from her cheeks, "I-I don't know.." She said as she she ran along with him."I think I know." Skyler said sweeping May up into his arms. He took them out of the castle and found a horse. He put May on first and hopped on as well. He lightly kicked the horses sides making it run at full speed to the west. Skyler wanted to get as far away from the assasins and Scadian as possible. He knew a secret place in the west. They would be safe there.
May was just crying silently, her father was dead and Scadian had turned on her. She didn't say anything, she was just shocked adn scared."It's ok." Skyler said hugging her closer to him. "I know you lost just about everthing tonight, but I know a secret place that we'll be safe in and... you won't have to worry about Scadian finding us. No one knows about this place." he said trying to reassure her. He kissed her cheek and said "It will be ok."

May sighed adn smiled weakly, "I'm happy I have you." She snuggled into him but she was still crying.Skyler held her closer not wanting to lose her a they were quite for the entire ride to the secret place, lost in their own thoughts.
May had slowly fallen asleep as they got to the secret place. Scadian growled as he woke up feeling the wound that Skyler had afflicted on him, "Damn!"Skyler walked the horse under a water fall. Behind the water fall was stone. Skyler pushed away the stone and brought the horse in. He pushed the stone back. They had entered a large room, with a few comforts of home. There was bed, a chair, and a makeshift writing table. Skyler carefully took May off the horse and layed her on the bed. There was a scorch mark, and some ashes. There was firewood near the writing desk. Skyler picked the firewood up and put it on top of the ashes. There were some matches in the drawer in the desk. He started a fire with them. Skyler sat on the bed next to May watching the fire.
May opened her eyes a little and murmured, "Mmm what?"
Scadian called the guards, "May and Sklyer have murdered the king! Find them, dead or alive."((this guy is and a*****e!))
Skyler kissed May's head and said "Go back to sleep I'll tell you everything in the morning." Skyler put out the small fire and layed in the bed holding May. Then finnaly got to sleep.

May nodded half asleep and snuggled into him and fell asleep again.((yeha that would explain stuff. XD)) The next day Skyler moved the stone and left it open just a crack to get some fresh air in. He went out past the waterfall and looked for some healthy herbs. He got what he was looking for and he put some water from the water fall in a pan from the secret hideout. He called it 'The Scared Wethly' which meant secret water. He made a broth for May and himself and went back to the cave. He was ready to explain everything.
