A Sad And Very True Valentine's Day Story
There once was a girl who was forced to move far away from the only true friends she had ever known. As the months went on, she found ways to shove the sadness into the back of her mind, while she continued to keep in touch with her now miles away friends. It was only a couple of weeks before Valentine's Day, when she bought a large container of those little candy hearts that alway come out for V. Day. When she got home from the store, she immediately opened up the container and grabbed a random piece of candy, watching the TV as she did so. Curious as to what the little candy said, she glanced down at the writing. The little pink heart said "Home Sick". Of all the heart candies she could have grabbed, "Home Sick" had to be it. Tears welled in her eyes as she thought of her friends back home. Quickly, she crammed the saddening candy into her mouth and stopped reading what the hearts had printed on them for the rest of the day. A week later, the girl opened up the same container, which now only had a small handful of candies in it. She had randomly grabbed them, reading each one before she plopped them into her mouth. Grabbing the last one, a pink one, the girl read it. "Home Sick" is what was printed on it. What are the chances that your first and last one would be exactly the same?
I am positively sure that this is a true story, as I am that girl.
