Bright green eyes watched as the Heartless in the halls skittered out of the way as the owner of the eyes walked through. She always thought the small creatures were wise in their fear of her. But she was also disappointed. The smaller of the creatures reminded her of small children, scared of the bigger people, unless they knew they could get something they wanted: in this case, Hearts. And they knew the gun-toting girl's Heart was not easily won. So they didn't bother. One gloved hand came up to bat the loss strands of hair from her face. This was Genesis, the first Elder of New Jerusalem. And she was not happy at the moment, though her face did not show it. She was growing restless, waiting for Maleficent to give her a place to go. She would have gone with Aura, but Genesis wasn't in a mood to deal with the Heartless' temper. A sigh escaped the smiling girl's lips.
"I really hate being useless." She pushed her glasses back up a bit on her nose. "Makes me feel far too pathetic." She stretched, reaching one of the balconies of the castle. A slight sense of peace washed over her, one she hadn't felt since she was a small child. The sight of the world, though unstable, had a certain beauty and mystery to it...It reminded her of the First Jerusalem she had visited as a young child. "Gorgeous...So beautiful, and yet fragile. Like reaching out will make it all break..." She chuckled. She had grown up so quickly in just five years...and so much more these past two years. She had to...But...
The sound of something skittering behind her caught her off guard. She drew her pistol from it's holster quickly and twirled around quickly, cocking it. And sending a Shadow skittering off in fear. "Geez! Do you things never learn?" She knelt down and held her hand out. "Come on. I didn't mean to scare you." She sighed as it continued off, not encouraged by her change in tone. "Oi...I should learn to tone that down..."
