US Figure Skating Championships
So the US Figure Skating Championships were held is Spokane, Washington. Pretty close to where I live, actually. But I coudn't go 'cause, you know, tickets cost money. xP Oh, how I wish I could've gone, though. ;o; <33 Not many people know this about me, but I adore figure skating. I've always found it to be an incredible sport. I also believe that the figure skaters who skate in pairs are incredibly strong. Probably some of the, like strongest athelets out there. I mean, the guys lift up their partner with ONE HAND. AND HOLD THEM LIKE THAT. WHILE SKATING. If that isn't strength then I don't know what is. x_x
So I watched the championships on TV like a lame-o who couldn't go for reals... which is just what I am, actually. xD Sadly, because the times were kinda inconvienient, I missed most of the mens' championships and some of the ladies' championships, so... dang. Thank god for videos on YouTube, though. &33 And thank god for DVR [it's a direct tv thing that, like, lets you record shows and stuff. I got to record the pairs skating and the pairs ice dancing. Yay!].
Johnny Weir is probably the coolest dude ever. His skating is amazing, his skating outfits are gorgeous, and his personality rocks. <33 I personally liked him more than Evan Lysacek, but whatever~ n_n; I especially liked his short performance. IT WAS AMAZERING. :3 <33
Short performance
Long performance
Man, he's like a god on ice. <33
