I believe that in the interests of all concerned, my first entry should have an Introduction, an explanation.
Growing up in my village (a small town, really) my given name was Inoman. It still is, but I, like most all of my people, were brought up with Given names. These names were separate, but often times used when introducing oneself to outsiders.
The tradition dates back centuries when it was widely believed (and often practiced) that one person could control another by using one's name against themselves. Having a Given name and a Birth name protects us because from the individual stems a sort of Duality that empowers both names equally.
On another note, though, I have little idea of what I will post here. Aside from an assortment of ramblings, diiscussionary thoughts, and observations, I cannot promise anything significant nor interesting. However, you will no doubt read it all anyway because you will have no choice. For whenever you come here, you shall be PWNED!
