Woo!
It's 6: 47 hours of the dawn and I am AWAKE!
Glorious! The sun is rising outside and it's really pretty right now....I'm not usually up so early, but I took a shower this morning [usually, I'd do it at night, but in addition to having a lot of homework, I was watching the movie Misery yesterday with my dearest darling sister!
It's a WEIRD movie. It was more suspenseful than horror genre, but it was good. Very masterful, as you'd expect from Stephen King. It was about this author who was in a car crash and he's found by this explosively insane fangirl that holds him hostage and drugs him and stuff. And she's really crazy, like, BAMIMANGRY zomigodI'myournumberonefan! -twitchdroolwheeze- But, still, a really good movie. I'd recommend it.
Slowly, the sun is rising! Huzzah! The pale cerise morning lent by the rising sun reflects off of the blue moonlight snow, like a mirror! scream
I like this time of day a lot. It's calm, but exciting! SO EXPLOSIVELY EXCITING.
So, I'm totally addicted to this song "Suigintou no Yoru", which is sun by the Japanese seiyuu of Uryuu from BLEACH [Yes, also the dude who plays Sasuke]. And so, oh. What the hell. Lyrics away!
yomichi ni ukanda suigintou no hikari
namida mo nai no ni nazeka nijimitatsu yo
The mercury lamp light that floated on the night road
Somehow blurs even without tears
yomichi ni hisonda boku no kuroi kage
nasake mo nai no ni nazeka ashibaya ni
My black shadow hidden by the night road
Somehow speeds up even without compassion
senaka ni mou hitotsu namida no nioi
tsuite kuru tsuite kuru
tsuite kuru tsuite kuru
The scent of one more tear
Draws nearer, draws nearer
Draws nearer, draws nearer
senaka ni mou hitotsu kokoro no mayoi
nigete yuku oikakeru
nigete yuku oikosarete'ku
One more uncertainty of the heart
Runs from me, I chase it
Runs from me, it passes me
hitotsu futatsu no kage kasanari
GUSARI to mune hitotsuki
futatsu no kage tokeru suigintou no yoru ni
One, two shadows overlap
Piercing through my chest
The two shadows melt in the mercury lamp-lit night
Obviously, bolded is the English translation. It's a really good song. The guy who sings it is Sugiyama Noriaki. He has a pretty good voice.
ALRIGHT. Cosplay. I've pretty much decided on Hanatarou as my next cosplay...but you know what else would be fun?
Someone from Samurai Champloo! Or a giant Cantido. I am so dead set on making that someday.
And now I'm listening to the song from Yakitate! Japan...it's such a fun book/anime! Really, they all make bread. It DOES have a distinguished plotline, though, and there are a lot of characters in it, so it's not like a crack manga or anything. But they do make a lot of puns that are funny and don't get lost in the translation, like Azumanga Daioh does. It's in that nameless genre of humour that appeals to both male and female of all ages, like Azumanga Daioh, FlCl, and...something else! More examples fail me at the moment. OHWELL.
