I was surprised to hear that xGackt used to live around me. It was about a decade ago when he moved to the eastern side of the US, maybe when I was about 2 or 3 years old. I wanted him to come back to where I live today. He knew about the famous highschool that's in a city adjacent to my city. He knew the elementary school I went to. I was surprised that he remembered all of this -- and as someone smart and idiotic at the same time, I would secretly talk to him with my own cell phone, therefore wasting my minutes. Yes, he did give me his cell phone's number. And now, I think of him as a complete stranger, as if I have to become friends with him again. Basically, restarting a friendship. It's difficult talking to him yesterday, and I couldn't stand his change in personality. So I feel like deleting him from my address book.
Even at school, he would still text me. I would stay like an idiot, texting him back whenever I can, not getting caught by any teacher whatsoever. He would text me in the morning to greet me, and at the end of the day, he would say "goodnight," even if I didn't text him back.
Something -- or someone -- amended his personality. And from his change, I've learned a couple of things.
It doesn't matter how long you've been friends with them. It matters how close you are to them.
Friendship can be so great that it can't be love.
Friendship is like a knot that can never be untied by another person unless you or your friend untie it. xGackt decided to untie that knot.
