*mourns her laptop*

I swear... Nikiana's comp must have done something to it! It was fine when I left it in there! crying And she said it was working fine for her. But I took it back.. And bam. No more laptop.

Actually... The computer works.. I just can't type anything... And it makes this annoying beeping sound when I try. So I called Toshiba tech support and they couldn't figure out anything wrong with it either.

Now... My laptop is being shipped far far away... crying I'm in the computer lab in my dorm typing this.. But I don't know how well I'll be able to get a handle on things. It will get to the repair place Monday and then they will ship it back to me... with luck by next Friday. (Should be more like Wednesday but I don't believe them). Yay for Toshiba!

I have to admit... I expected a lot worse when I called them in terms of tech support. The guy I talked had an accent yes, but it didn't interfere with his English. And we went through all kinds of things to try and get it to work.. F2 and F8 mainly..because I couldn't make my computer type to bring it into safe mode and actually do anything... And there were things he could have improved on.. Like telling me what the error message meant when I booted up my computer. But it could have been much worse.

When I had to ship it I was really glad I got a Toshiba. Under my warrenty I can bring my laptop to a UPS store (there's one just past where I work) and they will ship it to Toshiba. At no cost to me! ^^ So that made me happy. And it ships next day air. ^^ So if it wasn't a Friday, Toshiba would get my laptop tomorrow! Which is a good thing when you need it to have it back ASAP.

So that's my story folks. I'm going to be a very sporatic presence for the next week or so. See you!
