Next Cosplay=Sasuke
Pending on the fact that I can nab red eye contacts....Naruto cosplays are just way too fun, and I hate Sasuke with a passion, so I can easily act his character.

Yeah. It'll be an easy cosplay, which is part the reason, but also I can make it really cool.
I'm planning on doing the chuunin exam version of his clothes, and I'll FUN-IFY it by wearing red eye contacts and drawing on the curse mark. I already have what I'd need for the shorts [I know it's a one-piece costume, but I've seen it done as two before and it looks fine. Also, the shorts from my Sakura costume would work PERFECTLY for it. If I can find them. -_-|||||]and arm bands [Leftover tape from the Lee costume....I'd just need the black straps]. So that leaves his elbow pads, assuming I can find some elbow gauze at any drug store, the shirt and Uchiha symbol, which I am planning on painting on this time around, shoes [winter boots!], black straps [Mm...thin electical tape?], ninjas headband [I want one of the painted ones for the Sasuke cosplay], weapons bags[ albeit, the part I'm dreading most. ^^||] and the wig! OH, THE WIG. I did a lot of research on Sasuke wigs and doing crazy spikes in general, so I'll be much better off than on my Naruto wig....
Yup, it'll be an easy cosplay if I wanted to just throw one together, but because I'm trying to do a REALLY good job on this, I'm going to want to take a lot of time on it. I'd like to say that I can start as late as May on it, but on the off chance I go to AN, I'm going to want to start this ASAP. Hm....there won't be that much sewing, since this is more an "Assemble me!" project [Like the Rock Lee one]. If anything, I'll have to sew a big collar onto a black shirt.....
Predicted cost [discluding contacts]: $50
That's probably an over-estimate, but just to be safe, I'll leave it at that.
Now, the contacts. No way am I ordering something that I will put on my EYEBALL offline. It's just too risky. I'm looking for a local place that makes them....? My friend told me of one, so I'm esimating the cost for them at $40. Of course, I'm hoping for just red contacts, but if they do make fully custom contacts and somehow I could get Sharingan.....kekekekeke.....
Not to mention the fan action!! I can glomp so many people....and, hopefully, I'll get glomped as much as I did when I was Naruto! :3
EDIT: I found the Sakura shorts and I also found an old reject Shuriken holder than I made because the white part I made to go under it was too small. Yay!
I just used some of that fabric tape under it and it looks great! I'm really happy with it thus far. mrgreen
