J-Street Journal
Ok...Here's the dillio. I write ALOT. I write books/stories/poetry...the thing is I hate almost all of the poetry I write, but there are few that I do like. So I figure I'll be kind enough to share with you my three favorite. In order from best to worst.

NUMBER ONE

This one is not about the month November....It's about a person...The person will remained unnamed, but the month of November represents that person.

November

Yes...I remember...
That day. That day in November
When the leaves turn crimson as I become another year older.
The wind grows violent, and the air colder.
Those days in November can bring the coldest winds.
But from my sould, only one song descends.
The bone chilling wind wither flowers away.
Oh yes...November November, that faithful day.
Tommorow tommorow, the day that I dream.
Flaming embers fall and burn leaves as they scream.
Blue eyes become blind, as comes with the leaves the fear...
That day in November, yes that day of the year.
She passed the time slowly as she walked through the grass.
Waiting and wishing for that time to pass.
You'd never imagine how much strength it took,
To read the page of a burnt, corrupted book.
Forever to that day she would remain a slave,
But never to except the message it gave.
The day she'd walk off the edge of the Earth
She'd live her life for what it was worth,
Until that day...yes that day I remember...
That day...November November.

NUMBER TWO

This is about my puppy Motley Crue that ran away...I cried writing it..hehee.

Run

You were my best friend, we had lots of fun.
I should have known better, you needed to run.
We’d run in the open, we’d lie in the grass.
I should have known better, that time would pass.
You came to me a limp lonely dog.
I should have known better, you’d be devoured by fog.

We ran in a group, our own little pack.
But one day you’d run and never come back.
It was that day that you’d disappear.
Now I haven’t seen you in almost a year.

When you left I had slowly started to lose hope.
You were like a child to me, giving me emotions that were hard to cope.
But on a special day a miracle occurred.
You crept up on me like a ghost, I couldn’t say a word.
I swear on my life I saw you on New Year’s Eve.
But you ran from me and left me once again to grieve.

Yes you left me to deal with my sorrow,
I still wait to walk outside and see you tomorrow.
So don’t think I’m angry, don’t think I’m sad.
Don’t think I’m happy, and don’t think I’m mad.
Believe it or not my pup, I can understand.
The need to feel free, feel your paws in the sand.
I don’t blame you for running towards the sun.
You will always be my puppy, but you needed to run.

Ok This one is about this book I had to read called 'The Outsiders.'

The Outside Blues

In a time before ours, amazing character was displayed,
In a small town that shall remain unnamed.
Three boys of a different age lived in this unforgiving time,
In a world riddled by harsh words, and plagues of crime.
After the assault and bloodshed of one of their own,
There was a young boy who turned to stone.
As scared as he was, and as many fears as he had,
He knew if he gave up it would be ten times as bad.
The boy and his friend walked on down the street,
Talking and laughing while moving their feet.
Out of nowhere the faces appeared, and after the boy’s friend they eagerly went.
The boy watched as his friend hit the ground and begged for his life.
Until he just couldn’t stand it, and showed them the knife.
And all that was seen was the bloodstain glint.
As the boys mind was now violently bent.
All the stone boy felt there was left to do was run and hide,
But it cost the other his pride.
Still they ran on until that unforgiving day,
The day everything would fade away.
As their faces were recognized as heroes all over the news…
The death of a friend sings the Outside Blues.

So? What'd yall think? blaugh
