I was amazing in Japanese language class last night... but before I tell aboutit, I need to explain what we learned in second language class (CSLI = certificate in second language instruction. I'm not sure what to call that class...) On wed, we learned about the rythems in each language, the rythems in the sentence structure, the rythems in the very words. each language has it's own rythem... English has a soft rythem spoken at meduim speed... and once you can pick up the rythem of the language you're trying to learn, it becomes alot easier to learn... So Chika sensei (as we've been asked to call her) was speaking to us last night, and I was smacked over the head by the rythem of her words... Sounds silly I know... but if you can notice it, it's an amazing thing...
anyw ays.. I have to go to class.. my english teacher declared this a "study day" in other words she didn't want to come to class today, so i only have one *does the happy dance*
Jeff comes home for turkey this weekend!!! How I miss that overly dramatic nut case when he's gone... *sniff*
