Keni lightly lifted her head to look through the bars. All hope for getting out was gone. Why was she even alive. She had lost so much blood from the beatings they had given her, trying to extract imformation. She wouldn't give it. She had proved useless to the soldiers and they had given up hope on her as well, or at least she thought, but if that were true then they wouldn't have come and given her food. They would have completey forgotten her, which would have been ok, except that food was important, and extreamly scarce. If you got food it meant you were probably going to be beaten till you finnaly gave in. She didn't care that she would be beaten again. She only cared about the food and ate it greadily, her eyes flicking from side to side, making sure nothing would take her food. She felt as if this would be her last meal. It probably will be. No, you musn't think that way. she thought. Oh god, why am I here? As if reading her mind someone said "Because you were taken in for information which you still have not given." It was the soldier. Wonderful He whipped her five times then paused. "Now, will you tell us the location of your brother?" Keni spit at his feet and said "Why don't you just kill me now? I won't be of any use to you."
"What, you don't appreciate our services. Giving you food, bathing, and sleeping. You don't have to do any work. Anyways, if I could have killed you, rest assured, I would have, but seeing as I can't you'll just have to do as I say." the soldier said grinning an evil grin. Keni gave up all hope. She would go throught this whole routine till she died here. Was that the proper way for the Princess of the Elves to die? Of course not. How would she get out then? This was the only thing that stopped her from giving up all together. She smiled as the soldier whipped her once more. She had a plan. She wasn't sure if it would work though. Her smile stopped the soldier halfway stance to give her another round of whipping. He starred at her to make sure his eyes weren't deciving him, but they weren't and in that split second in his confusion, Keni had deabled every gaurd in the room and when the soldier blinked again Keni wasn't there and he was locked in her cell. How the hell had she done that?

Keni laughed as she walked quickly, almost drunkenly, out of the jail and towards her home.
