I remember long ago, back when we were young How much I loved you so Even now, my memories of you still remain The memories of how beatiful you once were But still, now it is only a memory Before that day occured Now you lay soundly asleep I feel as though I have lost somthing but yet is still by my side I fear that once you finally awaken, The love we once shared will never revive

Real world: This morning was quite fine. It seems that spring is finally arriving as the sun shines on my eyes, darkening my reaction lenses. Well besides that, I also gave blood today (it's already been four months since I donated last time). BTW, if anyone's wondering I'm an O+ smile I'm suprised that so many collage students applied fo donations today (I was the #76 in the cue, so you could imagine how long it took me to get to me). Well I had my doner card with me so I could bypass some of the forms I needed to fill out. For those who don't know the procedure after the paper work, here's how it goes: ) First, they get your index finger and p***k it a little to make it bleed (this is the most painful part for most people), take a little sample of that blood and drop it into some copper sulphate solution. For those of you who whish to the know the chemistry involved with this please read the small text as I do not wish to bore some of you: Ok, basicly to my limited knowledge (as I do not take chemistry), the reason why they drop the blood into a copper suphate solution is that it has a lower density than hematite (raw ingredient for hemoglobin which is essential for blood production). This means that if a person has healthy red blood cells full of hemoglobin, the blood sample should imediately sink to the bottom of the solution (like a piece of heavy metal sinking in water). Obviously, my blood sinked to the bottom otherwise, I wouldn't be able to donate today. ) Obviously, the cut is then treated. ) Then you are taken to a bed, where your left arm is unsleved and then pressure is applied. You'll be then be given somthing to sqeese with your hand to tense your muscles. ) Needle time! For my own sake, I never look a the needle, all I do is talk to the nurse and look up at the roof saying "I see the light...oh wait thats just the roof light". Don't worry, you only feel a slight touch wink . Then, it begins. ) Suck meh blood xd ! Nomally on average it takes, around 10 minutes to fill a whole pack of blood. As usual, mine took 5 smile . ) The needle is the taken out and the second cut is treated. Any you are tosit down for about 15 minutes. ) You have either the option to leave or like I did, stay to point and laugth at your frinds while in indulgeing into some juice and cookies.
Obviously, I felt a little woozey, but I still had to go to class (I'll leave you to imagine what happened). On the way home, again the sky looked to beautiful. "The sun is decending, yet still glows bright It's light piercing the clouds that intend to conseal it Is see the light shineing towards the ground Growing ever larger as it falls from the heavens" [The spring sky] Zero_angel 10/3/05

zentlair Probably would have returned the change, even though I badly need cash right now... Ish saving up for my wedding. Nice journal. Well it's nice to see that some people in this world have good hearts. Well I hope the wedding goes well. It's a shame I can't come, I've never been to one. Commented on: Sat Mar 05, 2005 @ 11:20 pm
Skylenity you have gotten a comment from Skylenity the smechy very well constructed journal ... you should now come and post in my journal ^^ if you want to Well tanks for the comment. I've already posted one in your journal too. Commented on: Mon Mar 07, 2005 @ 3:46 pm Aoife I too would return change. I have had stuff like that happen to me as well and had to (with much difficulty) go back and return stuff or pay for an item that was left in cart and not rang up. It's a pain, but I am one who couldn't feel good if I didn't, it would weigh on my conscience. Not many people would do that though. Good for you. Well thanks, and the same to you wink . heart Thanks for your comments as always Aoife heart
This is Zero_angel signing out... Oh, by the way, please put into your comments if I should keep adding my poetry into my entries. I feel as though no one pays attention to them.
