Damn, I just missed the deadline for the entry today by one minute. Oh, well, that's what I get for slacking.
Today was a good day, considering I missed school again. I woke up too late, and just didn't feel like getting ready. So, I went back to the pantry, and woke up around noon.
My dad left me a note, which almost put me in an off day. He was mad at me, because I hadn't cleaned the bathroom like he had asked. I was honestly going to do it first thing when I got back home today. What really bugged me was that he put "Love, Dad" on the note, which reminded me off the infamous birthday card. I decided to forget about it, I wasn't going to let a dumb note ruin my day. Besides, all day yesterday, except for when I got on to write, I had been studying, since today, I was supposed to take 4 tests, which I guess was for nothing. So at least I had a decent excuse for not cleaning it. He's always been bitching how he "never sees traces of me studying". He's never here, anyway, and who the hell "leaves traces" of them studying? This isn't a murder crime with evidence. Ah, who cares, on to more important stuff.
I was trying to meet Jen (Kawaii_Chibi_Neko on Gaia) there today, since she said she would be there, since she got to ditch as well. I was sad though, cause for most of the day, I got no sign of her. I was also disappointed, because it seemed like there was nothing I wanted to buy there. Well, there was one thing I had been planning weeks to get, which is kinda lame, considering what it is.
It's a nice blue glass bottle, that has a special topper to keep it closed. They cost around $6.00, and they sell them with like Root Beer and Cream Soda, which they use corny names, like Royal Honey. They refill the bottle with more soda, and if you tip them, they always like ring this bell and yell, "Huzzah to the generous tippah!!" and the other employees yell it back. I had a bottle last year, and when me and a few of my friends left, one of them held on to it for me. She lost it later, and I've wanted one for nearly a year.
This year, they didn't have them.
Fortunately, I found this leather shop, that had the same kinda bottles only smaller, and the holders. They let me buy the bottle seperately, and I was a happy person. I decided to go get something to eat, and I saw this Grille tent. They were selling Bratwurst with Sauerkraut, and it reminded me of my Chem teacher. When we took our re-test on Wednesday, he went over a question beforehand. He asked us if anyone knew what it was, because one of the questions was if it being pickled was a chemical or physical change. Barely anyone did, so he tried to explain it to us by using ratwurst to see if anyone had ever had that. He got frustrated when someone asked what bratwurst was.
It's actually not that bad, but the sauerkraut makes your breath so bad, you can smell it yourself. Luckily I had mints, and when I was done, I headed back and Jen finally caught sight of me.
We hung around the faire until she and her friend Kimberly had to go, and I bought her and me these duzzy brown tails. They're so cool, all I need is my plushie and I'd be perfect for Anime Vegas on Sunday.
I got lucky and caught the buses back home perfectly to get to my house on time, and I'm praying to God the UPS guy brings my plushie tomorrow. Here's your quote for the day, I'm out:
