So.. the next day.. Friday.. Alena's LAST DAY(and Carnaval). I wake up to find.. I'M SICK. stressed I have a really bad headache.. and I'm really tired. I think I can go to school.. so I force myself to take a shower.. I guess it relieved me a bit.. from my sickness. Yes, a nice hot shower. cool I even got a present for Alena.. and I couldn't give it to her! cry
Anyway.. by 7:30(I woke up at 7:00) I feel extremely sick and I can't walk straight without falling or stumbling.. so I decide to call my mom who was at work already. I call her and say "Mom.. I think I'm *sniff* sick.. *coughhack*"
"Are you really sick?? Because isn't it Alena's last day and that other thing you had at school today? You wouldn't want to miss that.."
"Yes, I'm really sick. If I wasn't really sick I would force myself to go to school.. but I can't really walk straight and I have a really bad headache."
"Fine.. I'll call the school. But drink some Neo Citron and put a few drops of echinacea in it. Drink lots of water, and I want you to rest and not be on the computer the whole day. Oh, and take an Advil or something."
"Fine.. But Neo Citron and echinacea are so gross! gonk "
"Sorry, you'll just have to live with it. You don't want to get more sick, do you??"
"I guess not. Fine, see you tonight. Bye."
I get off the phone.. and find out my day is going to be miserable and boring.. lying on the couch/in my bed for the whole day.. not being able to walk without my head pounding.. drinking/swallowing gross medicine stuff.. no computer.. all that jazz.
Well.. my day did turn out to be miserable and boring after all.. doing all that stuff.. and I was still sick. xp
Saturday was ok.. I was still a little sick.. mostly just a headache. But I'm on msn with Alena and she asks me "Where were you?! It was my last day and you didn't even come!"
"Sorry, I was really sick.. but I have something for you."
"What?"
"I have a present for you"
"Oh really?? Hey can I just come by now to visit?"
"Sure.. when are you coming?"
"Dunno.. I have to ask. Brb."
"Okay."
"Ok, I'll come in like 10 minutes. See ya!"
I get off and wait for Alena to come by. She comes about 10-15 minutes later.. I give her her present.. we freak out.. hug.. freak out more.. and then she had to go home. cry
It was a sad day.. but at least I have her new number and msn.. and at least she's not moving that far away.. not to another country or continent.. so I'm ok. But it's just really not the same without her.. Somehow, some energy is lost from the classroom. Ah well.. life is complicated, and I plan to live with the complication.
