Fariy, Ghost, Smithy 1
“Come on, we’re NEARLY there!” snapped the faerie girl.

“I’m coming, I’m coming, but are you sure there’s no traps or nothing?” asked the man, his small eyes shifting back and forth warily. The faerie, a small two foot blond surrounded in a white light, glared at him as he floated after her.

“Course I’m sure….It’s JUST a wizards cave.” the man, a 6 ft 2 in ghost, shuddered, his pail brown hair flopping around his head. He glanced to and fro worriedly, afraid something would happen. The two continued along the cave searching….searching…and searching.

Items of all shapes and sizes surrounded them, there were boxes in shapes of stars and tubes in shapes of X’s, yet none seemed to be what the two were looking for. They were just getting to the end of the cave when voices started to reach their ears,

“I found it!!!! This is GREAT!!!” there was a sudden, excited laughter that echoed around the stone cave walls.

Soon a young man in his late twenties, early thirties, came into view. He has a grin on his face going from ear to ear and an item that seemed out of place amongst the ‘Every color in the rainbow/ Every shape ever known items’. The item he held was a plain….old….box. The faerie suddenly shot forward.

“That’s mine!!! Gimme!!”

“No way. I found it!” the man drew back, his rough blacksmith hands gripping the box tightly. The ghost whimpered some.

“You guys, we need to get out of here….If we have the item, then traps may go off.” the faerie rolled her eyes.

“Shuddup!” she turned back to the man.

“Give me the box.” the man shook his head pulling away.

“I found it though..” the faerie was about to reply when the ghost said, “Let’s get out of here…We can travel together, threes better then two if we get attacked.” the other two looked at each other then nodded.

“Alright then…” the man with the box said finally.

“Very well..” muttered faerie. Turning the three started walking towards the exit. They walked…and walked…..and walked. Finally they made it out of the cave. The three looked at each other frowning. The ghost glanced around.

“Is it really safe to stand in the open?” asked the ghost, his eyes flicking from side to side, “We could be attacked or….”

“Will you SHUT UP?!!?!” snapped the faerie and blacksmith at the same time. They glanced at each other then burst out laughing.

Finally the blacksmith said, “So why have you been looking for the box?” asked the faerie to the blacksmith who shrugged, “I’ve always wanted to see the city…you?” she and the ghost glanced at each other oddly then the faerie replied.

“Well….I want the box so I can control the world and make it black like I want it…” she broke off into a rough cackle.

“Errrrrright.” the man looked down at the box, “Can this box REALLY do that?”

“Yup.” said the faerie. The blacksmith nodded and glanced at the ghost questioningly.

“I’m only hear, because she threatened to kill me…That and so I’d no longer have to be paranoid…I mean a world all black, and made out of rock and such?” he broke off giving a wistful sigh and looking at the ground day dreaming about it.

“Ahh….” the blacksmith mumbled and gave a small nod acting like he knew what the ghost was talking about.

“Lemme see the box!!” the faerie demanded, launching herself at the box in the mans hands. The blacksmith dogged to the side only to have the ghost tackle him and the faerie try and get the box again.

Now, for times sake and , because of all the blood and gore, the next fighting scene will be skipped so as not to unsettle any ones stomachs. Let’s just say that the fight was long and ended with all, but the faerie unconscious.

The girl laughed evilly looking at the box. Years and Years she’d looked for this box. One that would plunge the world into darkness. The other two woke up and saw what she was doing and then began to lunge at her just as she opened the box…….

Now here the story will paused while you get some background information. While the three did meet up with each other in the cave, they had not been traveling together. Also, in truth, the items they were looking for were 2 different items.

The blacksmith found the item he wanted, but the faerie and ghost, well they were mistaken. In fact the item that the faerie was after was actually in the hands of Hades….but that is a whole ‘nother story…but I’m sure this separate thing is getting quite annoying. So back to the story…

The other two woke up and saw what she was doing and then began to lunge at her just as she opened the box. Instantly there was a flash of light and the scenery around them swirled out and became only a mix of colors, like paint going down a drain and finally things began to clear.

When things became clear they were surrounded in something like fog….or was it cloud? Everything was white and bright, with the air tinged in lilly and rose petals.

“Wow….” whispered the blacksmith as he looked around in awe. “I’m here….”

“Where?” countered the faerie as she looked around the heavenly scene, a look of disgust on her face.

“Home of the good people and cloud people…” said the smithy, “Cloud City.”

The ghost frowned looking around at the pretty place in disappointment, “You mean hell?”
