hey!! i got less lazy! OMG! heh. its old wrtings....old writings first.... from tokyopop....and it gets better. this part sucks.

The first time I saw, Aiden I was so incredibly naïve, that if I saw myself then I probably would have stolen my own wallet. I was that pathetic. You see, I used to be one of those kids. The quiet ones, that everyone knows, but not by name. I’m about 5’9 and I have wavy black hair, about shoulder length. I guess I am okay looking, but only three girls had asked me out. Which seemed so important at the time, but now seems so insignificant. I wear glasses, which are a pain in the a** now, but back then they turned into shades when I went outside, and I thought that was the coolest darn thing I ever saw. Unfortunately, it probably targeted me for eminent abuse. The roaming gangs around here are deadly; they only bother with the upper-class preps usually so I figured I was safe. If I hadn’t worn those stupid glasses…. Okay, so I was walking home, instead of calling a cab, I kept the money that my mother gave me. She does care, which is usual for so many people around here, but I really needed the cash. I was going past Walnut (such an inconspicuous name for a street full of nothing but dealings) and, of course, I walk a bit faster, trying to get past the heavy sleaze, when some piece of filth comes out of the shadows of a alley. He’s smaller than me, about 5’5, but he doesn’t look so benign with an army surplus knife glinting in the light. He sneers at me, looking up diminishes the effect almost entirely, only to hit back home with the reflections off the knife. I was sweating, and I knew it was apparent that I was scared enough to piss myself. I swear to god I thought he was going to stab me, but then a boy with whitish –blonde hair stepped up to the younger boy. I knew instantly who it was, I mean, his reputation had gotten all the way to my school. With a stunning olive complexion he shone among the dirty boys that flocked to his sides, like a pack of dogs with a wolf leading them. That is the animal I picture Aiden to be. He’s so independent, yet thrives on the company of others, like a wolf. Besides, he was an entirely different breed from those boys. Stepping out of the shadows, he glided up to me. Grabbing my face with his hand, he inspected my looks, like a judge at a dog show. After moments of his gray ice eyes piercing mine, he released my face and grinned. He turned, and strode away exuding confidence. Almost past the boys, he whispered something to one of them, and the boys face turned to mine. The boys wore a look of a cat holding a mouse under its paw, and only a brief look told me that I had a right to be frightened. Aiden disappeared around a corner, and then the nearest boy punched me so hard, I swear I saw stars. As prep, I wasn’t really used to it. I, of course, fell against a wall and slumped to the ground like a rag doll. The older boy next to him pulled a blackjack out and grinned, looming over poor, pathetic me. “ Go to sleep “ he leered and then the stars crashed for a final time. Then silence.
