"I'm dead,"I said to her, "Just leave me here to die." She shook her head with tears in her eyes. "I can't," she whispered softly, "I won't." I felt the energy leaving me. It became hard to move and my eyes began to droop. "Please...It..shouldn't be this way. Get out of here while you can." "NO, I can't." was her only reply no matter how many times I asked. She held on to me tight, I couldn't push her away, couldn't keep her safe. So we died in eachothers embrace.
