ok this poem isnt too cheezy it was gonna be all lovey like but then i didnt feel too happy this mornin so i twisted it around, hence the name:


Twisted

Shower my day with rays of sunshine
Run along don’t cross the line
Say “I love you” to warm my heart
Write it to me with ways of art
Chocolate, caramels and a jelly bean
Ask me and I’ll tell you what I mean
And now I say I love you too
Just know for always that it’s true
Now pull me close and hold me tight
So I feel safe all through the night
Kiss my lips and lick my cheek
Don’t run far ‘cause I will seek
From dawn to dusk and dusk to dawn
Cuddle me close and I’ll feel calm
Now take my heart in your hand
Make me feel so happy, loved and
Trick me, hate me and lie to me
Captured my heart cannot be free
Your caring face, I have been lured
Can’t turn away from your hating word
Tear my heart, smash it on the ground
Now our love cannot be found
Blinded by hate and tricked by love
You’ve captured me in your puppet glove
Tear my skin and make me scream
Carry out your deathly scheme
Torture my soul and kill my mind
Look from me or I will blind
A crooked smile on your face
Hold me in your warm embrace

It’s too late you’ve crossed the line
For too long, I cannot seek
Kiss my lips and lick my cheek
Speak to me your world of lies
How dramatically now time flies
Lay me down in a bed of ember
Burnt so long I can’t remember
A crooked smile on your face
A child’s dress round with lace
The swirling winds of a coming storm
Close to the fire, feeling so warm
Grab my hand and twist my arm
Lied so long don’t take alarm
Blood of poison and eyes full hate
Said you love me but it’s too late
Shower my day with rays of sunshine
Hand in hand, a forest of pine
Lay me down in a bed of ember
Frozen bones in wind December
Bloody tears and poison of vein
A smile to wash away my pain
Breaking, twisting trapped by vine
