Swiftly the wind blows. It raises her hair and pulls at it mensingly, trying to pull her with it, on a journey, she held her ground though, and the wind soon gave up. The corners of her lips raised, ever so slightly.
He hacked through the overgrown bushes, and cursed as a branch hit him. He sighed as he got closer to the edge of the seeming forest. He took a few more careful steps foreward and then smiled as he reached a clearing. His smile was illuminated ten times greater when his eyes fell on her.
She turned her head at the noise she heard behind her. The wind picked up again and brought her sent flying towards him. She smiled as he approached.
He was coming closer to her with every step. He was soon in front of her, barely a foot away, yet she seemed miles away. He tentatively brought his hand up, and took another step towards her.
She did not shy away, she only made the distance between them even smaller, taking a step herself. She brought her hand to meet his and looked deeply into his eyes. She interwined there hands while she brought her free hand to his face.
He smiled and opened his mouth to speak.
She moved her free hand from his cheek to his lips and help her finger there and shook her head. No words were needed for this reunion.
With his free hand he took her hand off his lips and held her waist, bringing her closer to him, then with one fluid motion, he kissed her upon the lips.
