Well, I made it through my one day of work this weekend, and am at home, relaxing. I helped my mom make a carrot cake tonight - we'll turn it into a bunny cake tomorrow. *grins* That means we bake the cake in a rectangular pan, then cut off about one third of that. We cut an other strip off that, and cut the strip in half. The big portion is the body, the small now rather squarish section is the head, and the two half strips are set up as ears. We ice the whole thing in the traditional carrot cake icing - cream cheese frosting, sprinkle shaved coconut all over to look like hair, then decorate with candy. It's a lot of fun. *smiles* I kinda surprised my parents by showing up today. I stopped to run a couple errands on the way, and when I didn't answer my cell phone when she called, my mom started to wonder if I might be on my way, so she turned the porch lights on 'just in case'. Well, she was right. It was still a nice surprise, though. My brother and his girlfriend should be coming over sometime tomorrow - I just hope it's not too early! I want to sleep in. *grins* Well, that and get clean before they show up. ;~)
I'll be driving back to my cousins house probably on Monday morning - I've got an appointment to get my oil changed in the morning, and I should probably go in to the warehouse to make up some of the hours I'll be missing on Sunday, since we're off. I don't really want to, but my paycheck will appreciate it. *grins*
Well, that's about all I've got to say tonight, so I'll sign off.
