Unfortunately, there was an utter lack of free interwebs in Tokyo. There was, however, everything else awesome. For instance, a manga shop, hobby store, military surplus and Airsoft supplier all in the same building. There's too little space on this virtual superhighway to say it all, and too few words in our vocabulary to say it with.

Anyway, for review, Tokyo is a lot like a cleaner version of San Francisco on crack, with even more asians, not as many homeless, and crime is hard to notice (assuming there is any). Not to mention that- in terms of area and just about every other aspect- Tokyo dwarfs SF.
The currency in Japan is Yen. One Yen is technically worth about one Cent, so 100 Yen is one Dollar. There aren't many places that accept US Dollars, but money is easily converted. Just make sure you aren't ripped off.

Pros:
-Sushi is local there, so not only is it cheap, but it's pwnsomely good.
-It's pretty much impossible to find yourself unable to go somewhere: the metro subway system covers much of the city, and is EXTREMELY useful for getting around as long as you have a ticket (maybe a couple hundred Yen)
-As long as you know a little basic Japanese, you can find your way by asking for directions if you happen to get lost.
-OMG! No hobos asking for spare change!? LE GASP!
-If for any reason you can't stand Japanese food, there are westernized resteraunts scattered throughout Tokyo (I'm not sure if that's a pro or a con).
-Many places to spend money. But wait: what's this? No buyer's remorse?! NO WAI!
-You playa-type guys might be pleasantly surprised at how attractive many Japanese girls are. Of course, a**-watching was never a hobby of mine.
-It's the birthplace of gaming. I'm not sure if Time Crisis 4 has shown in the states yet, but whatever game it is, it's going to release there first.
-Being a tourist is not recommended, but it's more acceptable than anywhere else. Why? Because the Japanese know that same "group photo", "look at that", "take a picture" urge.

Cons:
-Getting bored isn't too common, but when you're bored, YOU'RE ******** BORED.
-One word: Engrish
-What can you expect from a foreign country? People will try to gyp you. Same thing happens everywhere else.
-********. Curse you, capitalism!!!
-If you're a driver, and are used to driving on the right side of the road, you better adjust to driving on the left.
-Don't go there if you're an extreme conservative: they WERE in the Axis during WWII, and there are a few remnants that will upset you if you're so overzealous in your politics. You d**k.

That being said, I recommend you visit Tokyo. No matter who you are, unless you're a radical conservative. That is all: there is nothing more to be said, other than "your life is not complete until you've seen Japan".
