It Only Takes One Time

You’re having fun now
But little do you know
While you’re free now
Something inside you grows

You played around
Thinking the fun would last
Not knowing the peak of your life
Has already past

You thought everyone was doing it
You thought it was fun
But know you know they weren’t
And you’re the only one

Now you had your fun
And did what you did
But now you’re stuck
Having to raise a kid

You look for the father
But he’s nowhere to be found
Now realizing you’re raising a kid
With no father around

When your mother finds out
She starts to shout and scream
You can’t have a child
You’re only sixteen

You look to the stars
As you start to cry
I only did it one time
Just to try

As you sit and cry
You hear words in your mind
Echoing repeatedly
It only takes one time
