Hey Hey Guys! I know I haven't posted in a long time so I decided that I shall come back!
Anyways today's entry is about today, the Day of Silence.
I myself am participating in the Day of Silence. Which is a national youth movement protesting the silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies in schools. My deliberate silence echoes that silence, which is caused by harassment, prejudice, and discrimination. I believe that ending the silence is the first step toward fighting these injustices. Think about the voices you are not hearing today. What are you going to do to end the silence?
Anywho, starting 5th period I began my silence. But next year I am going to not talk the whole day, from morning till night. I know that usually its only for school hours but I think that I would rather do the whole day.
Well then about today.
1st: Gah! I can't believe how boring this class is. I mean commmon! Today we had to take notes again. Well, ok, it wasn't on the same stuff but like NOTES ewwww.. like kill me now! And like Mr. Bling.......grr. thats all I can say!
2nd: Ha. I had Catherine sit next to me!! Oh and Mrs. Stanfield came. Wahaha. I wanted to ask her how to say 'Its a flying butterwalker' in a french accent but I never got the chance. *snaps figures* =[]=;; Yea well we watched this video on like..........minerals.....twas actually a tad bit interesting. =]
3rd: Um....we talked about circles and did the homework. I didn't pay attention. Like at all
4th: We got the Anne Frank and Me book and since I am soooo awesome, Mrs. Jarman gave me a hardcover. *woot woot* Yea, this is were I heard of the Day of Silence thing. I am still silent right now. =]
5th: I stopped talking starting now. It was kinda hard at first but like now I am sooo use to it. Anyways, I got rid of my two track things today so tomorrow I can just chillax! Woo! Yea, but like running sucks....I hate running. I don't think I will ever run seriously unless my life is on the line.
6th: La prueba de hoy era como realmente duro. Bien, no era que difícilmente sino aún. Creo que lo he fallado totalmente. Espero que no fallara sin embargo. Espero que consiga un buen grado porque si no, entonces como puede ser que consiga la C en la clase y estoy apuntando para una A o por lo menos un B. De todas formas, el sexto período era ..... realmente silencioso. Ahaha, How you like my Spanish abilities now? I think I messed up on some of those words, but you get the gist of it right? xD
