Poem I wrote a while ago...it's kind of sad. Haha.
I thought you were my pair of wings
I thought you’d let me fly
Hoping that you loved me
Was enough to get me by.
I loved the way you looked at me
Did it mean what I thought?
I knew that you belonged to her
But somehow I forgot.
Whenever I was with you
She was never in my mind
I tied to make you love me
Was it all a waste of time?
I may have imagined the things you did
That made me fall in love.
But you gave me the kind of happiness
That I’d only been dreaming of.
I’m not sure what I should do now
Is she still in your heart?
I only wish I knew for sure
Because now I’m falling apart.
Right now I’m hanging by a thread
One last speck of light
Telling me there’s still a chance
Things will be alright.
So if you love me, tell me now
Promise you’ll answer true
And if you still love her, remember
I’m in love with you.
Yeah. It's kind of lame, I know. ninja
